@Aris: I love swooning Shep as well. XD Also love the way the dialogue about "Primarch Vakarian" slightly changes whether he's romanced or not.
Shep is the biggest Garrus fangirl ever.

I know, right? I barely managed to bring myself to vote against the likes of Wrex and Legion, as well.Karrie788 wrote...
I can't believe I just voted against Mordin. That was like choosing between Garrus and Minsc.
But in the end, there's no Shepard without Vakarian, and that's a fact.

Good question. He looked shy the last time he was interviewed for being Garrus's voice actor.Armdin wrote...
I wonder how Brandon Keener feels about being the VA for one of the most popular characters in gaming.
That role will follow him wherever he goes. XD

I'm going to pull an Avina and claim I am not qualified to make that kind of moral judgement.
Seriously, I watched a youtube of someone shooting Mordin in order to sabotage the genophage. I wanted to puke. Like I've said before, though, trying to fathom a Shepard that doesn't have Garrus wandering around the ship is also pretty disheartening. I think about it and get all listless and depressed.
Every single Shep I play in ME2 and 3 paces either around or in front of the gun battery until Garrus shows up because- damn it, he just belongs there.

Voted. And feeling sick. But there's no Shepard without Vakarian... I wonder who the hell comes up with threads like these.
And Minsc and Boo... Don't remind me of that ending screen. Loved it, but that was bittersweet. Never separated, up among the stars, where hamsters are giants and men become legends... [Sorry, translated from memory, so probably a bit off]

Bittersweet. Hence, awesome.
Sarevok's ending screen broke my heart.

Part of me agrees. The other part is still upset (and it has been what, a decade?) that the damn ending screen for him is always the same, regardless if you convinced him to change his ways or not. "Light-side" Sarevok, given that the mortal ending is chosen, even gratulates the Bhaalspawn and says he'd like to continue to travel with him / her... Still, "dark-side" Sarevok's comment on the mortal ending is priceless.
The later dialogues that enable him to change aren't always triggered, though.
Some time ago there was a romance mod for Sarevok out there, which should be quite creepy, but strangely, it didn't feel off to me. As Viconia said to Imoen, a dead god (who happens to have firegiant offsprings as well) as father doesn't mean "family" / "siblings" (or something along these lines). I actually liked the mod, both "versions" of the original Sarevok were relatively in character, from what I saw - and there, finally the endings differed

The default ending screen you get for him is his Chaotic Good one, I think. There was supposed to be another screen if he remained Chaotic Evil in which he went back to his old ways but didn't enjoy it as he did in BG1 and actually welcomed death when heroes came to finish him. Something along those lines.Seleya_LL wrote...

Yep, did that mod a year ago. I didn't think it would turn out to be this... sane, considering (I don't think of them as siblings, but he did murder her adopted father). I liked it too.
Anyway, back to topic, Garrus is still awesome. ... still no news as to when the EC comes out? I want my turian babies!

Oh man, this video. Saw it a while back. Keener looks incredibly uncomfortable throughout the whole thing.

...wait, he plays on XBox? I have to allay that little piece of stalker inside of me. While I'm mostly kidding, I'm pretty sure I would freak the **** out if I heard the real Garrus while I was shooting Reapers.

either way, I still like Garrus no matter what... same for my Shep.
Um, is this a joke I don't quite get or just a demonstration that texture mapping on complex models can be difficult?
Anyway, I'd agree with your last statement
Edit: ToP and graphic comparison...
hmm, last I played ME3 Garrus textures were like the above 3ds max pic, yet not as noticeable but there...
all I know, something happened to some game files which ended up revealing things that weren't there...
which could count for some of my blue screen crashes; some icons are glitched/pixelated, but aside from that game as so far ran just fine on the test play, other graphics details are still good.

Yeah, that would be quite something

@flippedeclipse: Liked the characterizations in your latest story. Though I prefer the mood of 'Paradise' - that ending evokes emotions too close to the 'canonical' feeling of gloom I usually get right after Rannoch.

Thanks! Yeah... that was just... a depressing moment. Initial idea was to explore how Garrus feels about the war since he's Shepard's rock throughout the whole game, and it ended up sad =/ EC come out soon so I can get the happy feels back ;_;
Edit: Oops, here's a pic! (I'm not exactly sure what ToP stands for yet lol)
