I was wondering if anyone knew what happens if you turn Garrus down in the final romance scene. I know with Kaidan you get a nice cuddle scene. Does Garrus just take off?

The one for if he stays is incredibly adorable too. "It's late. Just got up for some water. You're still asleep. Wanted to say how beautiful I think you are. Love G"

 I know it's just Photoshop, but Garrus with a human body is slightly frightening =P
The app messages are hilarious. Garrus is such a flirt, but I personally love Javik's messages. His fails at technology are so funny.
Speaking of flirting, Garrus and Tali just finished the "up close and personal" dialogue in my current game <_<

Haaaahahaha. I can feel the disapproval radiating through my screen @flippedeclipse. I too, will always side-eye that event when I hear about it occurring. Also the pic where Garrus is missing his mum had me cooing at my screen like a moron. Nice find =P

I'm really nervous for this EC. I'm still only halfway through my vanguard playthrough of ME1. I'm getting really good with a shotgun, I'm happy to say, but I don't know if I should just hold off the EC to play through the rest of ME1 + 2. I was thinking about loading up what was meant to be my 'canon' infiltrator run and I was surprised to find that a large part of me really didn't want to do that - you know, that bizarre irrationality of the experience of that particular run and all the mostly negative emotions tied to it.
I'm kind of tempted to go dark and hide from the forums for a while so I can push through the vanguard playthrough and give the EC a fair(?) chance but at the same time - augh rambling blah blah blah. Bioware and EA why couldn't you have just gotten this right the first time?

@txmn1016 I love that MShep + Kaidan + housemate!Garrus comic. I love the idea of Garrus trolling Kaidan in a sharehouse with MShep. So. Much. Unrepentant. Glee.

Also thought about hiding from everything ME-related, at least until the weekend, as I won't have time to look at the EC before. Then again, last time I avoided spoilers was not a nice experience. Total agreement on the rest of the statement - and that comic is really funny.

I've been through the endings three times now, so I feel comfortable playing the EC as soon as I'm able. My expectations are pretty low anyway (or at least I'm trying to keep them that way). Don't want spoilers this time.

After watching the interview and reading stuff ...I don't think indoc theory is true at this point  ()and it seems as if starbrat is here to stay (blergh) so this has to be something amazing to fix what was so wrong with the original ending.

Omg! I'm probably really really slow. But I am playing through the ending again (EC and all) and the night before the Cerberus base, when he asks if something is bothering Shepard I picked "nothing" for the first time. I always pick the top option otherwise.
And he starts talking about their.. Well. you know "performance" I totally missed that! He actually confirms there was sexytimes

I thought the EC was okay, but then my expectations were at zero. The only way I could have been disappointed was if it was actually worse than the original end and it wasn't so meh basically.

It's not that I'm disappointed, I just question whether anyone will still care by the time I get around to Meghan Shepard's version of the endings.

Because I think people are just that fed up.

Just watched the endings on YouTube after basically ignoring Mass Effect in favor of Legend of Korra, Civ V, and generally superior media. While I do love the idea of control!Shepard, God-Emperor of the Galaxy, the EC is basically a moderate improvement to a giant pile of suck.

Well, I loved it! I feel like I finally have the closure I needed, the personal moments with my LIs, and everything makes a little more sense this time.

I'm really happy Bioware did this. They've had to deal with a lot of negativity from an unforgiving fanbase for the past few months, and they delivered what I personally was looking for. I got my happy ending =)

Since I won't be able to download the EC until Sunday (and that's if I am lucky), and I don't really want to get upset again due to some Youtube minutes: I'd be very grateful to any kind soul around who'd pm me in ten words or less if the EC is worth some time if one happens to be a strict "destroy all Reapers" player with a preference for happy ends. -- Edit -- Done, and thank you!

Edit: @Sialater / Meghan: I'd like to read the rest of Meghan's story, regardless of the EC or the time needed for it, but I'd understand if you stop writing due to lack of general or personal interest. It's just that I like your version of ME and Shepard, and that it's sad to see a great story end before it's actually finished.

I think a lot of us buried Mass Effect long before the EC came out.  I appreciate the effort that went into it (though it's soured by the amazing childishness of the refusal ending), but as far as BioWare's hand in Mass Effect is concerned, that's over.  Done.  

However, fanfiction and fanart are something else entirely.  I once read that fanfiction is society's way of reclaiming stories, and there's at least some truth to that.
