While I will not take part in any sort of discussions or have any interest in the canon endings ever again, and likely won't play any Bioware games after this, I'm not leaving the fandom itself.

Fanart, fanfiction, cool fans, I'll stay for that. And for the characters I love. I've played enough Skyrim to know that headcanon is the way to go for anything really. I'm happy with my own little reality.

That's why I'm very glad I risked it and took him on the final push, I got a touching goodbye seen (although I don't think he protested nearly enough) and it was Liara who told Joker we had to leave, good to see her undying devotion wasn't that undying after all.

Seems I'll be playing Vanguard only from now on, if I am playing ME again besides checking out the EC when I've got the time, and if that happens to my Shepard, too. The urge to hit my head against a hard surface is just too strong right now, and I suppose Reaper troops or at least Brutes will do.

Edit: @Sialater / Meghan: I'd like to read the rest of Meghan's story, regardless of the EC or the time needed for it, but I'd understand if you stop writing due to lack of general or personal interest. It's just that I like your version of ME and Shepard, and that it's sad to see a great story end before it's actually finished.

Flipped Eclipse:  it negates the need for MP to get Destroy + breathe.  That's pretty much all I required.  I don't have time to play MP.

Seleya and Sable:  I've decided to go ahead and finish.  I'll have to do significantly more prewriting and planning for Loved's ME3 leg, though.  May take a while.

I bawled my eyes out on the "Normandy Pickup" scene. I was happy to see Garrus get out so he could live but it broke my heart to see him go. That final "I love you" killed me too. I also cried when Garrus put Shep's name on the memorial at the end.

I too had Liara telling Joker we had to leave so it didn't bug me. if it had been Garrus it would've sucked more, especially if he was just on the ground with you.

EC SPOILERS!!!

I waited to finish ME3 until the EC was out, so the entire end run was pretty much new to me. So add in the EC, and wham! I cried like a blubbery baby. And the scene with Garrus and Shep on the evac ++ I loved it =3 Javik was the one to tell Joker to leave, funnily enough =D That fits just fine XD I wasn't expecting my Shep to live, in fact my head canon was she died fighting. But in actual fact, it plays out better with the improved endings =D

That scene with Garrus and the wall...waaah!

Could anyone PM me if the Geth/EDI have a chance at living with high enough EMS on the Destroy ending? Is it left open ended or does it very deliberately show bits of dead Geth/EDI.

It looks like I'll be headcanoning ME3's ending after-all, but people seem generally happy with the EC so I'm not that upset.

Wish the 4th July would come around quicker :C

Just finished the EC, and I'm... satisfied. Happy, even. Then again, considering my low expectations, it's not surprising.

The last scene with Garrus and Shepard broke my heart, but in a good way. Does that make sense?

When you pick destroy he doesn't put the name tag on the wall, just holds it and hesitates the other 2 ending they put the anme on the wall. So there is still hope for me for a Garrus Shepard reunion

Just... take him to the beam with you. I've come from "NEVER take your LI to the beam with you" to "ALWAYS take your LI to the beam with you".

Can't wait to play the EC with my Liara and Talimancer.

No idea.  She said it in both of my playthroughs too.  I think if it's not her, then it's Garrus.  I wonder who says it if you take both Garrus and Liara on the push.  Maybe Ash/Kaidan, and if they aren't there, Tali?

The FOB scene where all your squadmates are hanging around are the same, it's when you're running to the beam that a new scene got added, and it will spear you through the heart and make you cry like you're 5 years old again =P

SPOILERS due to repeat of previous posts / question:

Technical question: Destroy choice given, is the "Shepard breathes" scene the same from before, and the 'last' visible thing before the credits? If that, I'd say it's very possible to replace that with a reunion scene of one's personal choice that makes actual sense without really altering the now canon story, be it as true video (no experience there) or a screenshot / art / picture slide show (easily possible, can provide an example myself when the weekend comes).

And on the memorial bit, that finally makes sense. The twitch of his mandibles, the hesitation. I was too blubbery to notice it properly. He knows Oh Bioware, those little....what are they plotting now
