I took Kaidan.  Best duo for killing banshees!  Also the looks he gives you at the pick up scene, even when he's not your LI, is utterly heartbreaking.

I was more weirded out by the hug between EDI and Garrus (I played through all the endings) I remember adding on to EDI's creepy speech: "and I am thankful for Shepard's sacrifice because it cleared the way for me to dump the cripple and nab that badass turian she was hoging all to herself. MUHAHAHAHA!"

I have to admit, I was marginally ok with it until the possibly sentient husk...

That just creeped me out to no end.  And then to top it off EDI mentions something about them conquering mortality and I was like, okay...hell no.  This is offcially too ethically ambiguous for me to get behind.

So, for Avery's game, Garrus will be hauling Kaidan away, for Meghan's game, Kaidan will be hauling Garrus away.

First time checking out the EC I picked the 'I reject all choices' option.. I relaunched the game because I was shocked that everyone died (pretty stupid of me, but I didn't expect that to happen.. though I have no idea what I expected). xD
I went with destroy (as usual), and now I am certain that I will never pick control. When the starbrat explains that Shepard will be aware of the humans just going on with their lives, it made me so sad. Staying aware of everyone around you but not being able to 'be' with them, must be incredibly lonely. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Don't get me started on the Synthesis ending, as a biologist I reject that ending. >>'

- I made an incoherent sound when the pickup scene took place, so sweet!
- The flashback at the end made sense, before the EC I got Anderson, Joker and Liara, with the EC installed I got Anderson, EDI(?) and Garrus.
- I wasn't sure I had enough EMS to get the breath scene, when I saw the scene before the memorial wall, I was practically screaming in my head 'Don't place it on the wall! Don't place it on the wall!' Shep survived though, assuming the breath scene makes sense (which it doesn't, but not complaining). >>'

Im like - Tali helping to carry a big guy like him!? Woooooooooowwwwww XDDDD Tali super strength!

And Im slightly confused - i picked the destroy ending. Always have.
That part when theyre at the memorial wall - Garrus doesnt put the plaque up. Is it like that in the other scenes? I heard they actually put it up except the destroy option cuz Shep is still alive. Im here thinking - Why all you ppl grieving me at the memorial wall!? HEY IM STILL ALIVE! COME FIND ME ALREADY!

seriously - bioware is treating that "shepard breathes scene" as a total teaser..... stop teasing! gah!

Bout the new goodbye scene b4 the beam: I agree with EVERYONE! i didnt see that coming - and my jaw completely just dropped when i saw it. so heart breaking! i will always love garrus. ALWAYS!

Apparently, your LI not putting the name up the memorial wall means he/she somehow knows that Shep is still alive (hence the smile on his/her face), and will probably set out to find him/her.

I like to think that way, anyway. Probably why I was quite satisfied with that ending (still hate the Catalyst though).

But since the Normandy takes off pretty quickly from the jungle planet, I wonder why Bioware didn't get rid of that scene in the first place...

In the Control and Synthesis memorial scene, the plaque got put on the wall .

In my flashback I got Anderson, Thane and Garrus - Thane really confused me, maybe I nearly romanced him? I don't know, I used my original game so I can't quite remember.

Recently I started another playthrough but with my Mara Shep's face patched, and having done the old save, damn the patch has worked a treat. So when I finish my patched playthrough (my "canon" Shep, the other will now be known as "alternative universe Shep"), that will be my big finale playthrough.

That, is, if I can play it. I don't know if I can do all that again, how do you guys do it??

I think everyone gets Thane in control and synthesis, bioware's attempted apology for completely forgetting him after his death.

Definitely much better in terms of closure. I kind of didn't pick up on the whole "LI not believing Shep is dead" though, mostly as I was a blur of emotions. BUT YAY!

EDIT:  I also got Thane in the Destroy choice.  Glad I he got a mention!

I find new little things in every playthrough, so that's kind of what keeps me going after Mars. Sometimes I'll pick renegade options that I haven't taken before, save Grunt's crew instead of the Rachni, etc. etc.
