Speaking for EDI, Anyone else find it rather beautiful and heart felt that Garrus gave EDI a hug in the synthesis ending?
*snip*

NO. :C

If Shep doesn't get Garrus hugs, nobody should get Garrus hugs. ::pouty face::

Okay, now for serious mode. I would find that sweet, but I just find Synthesis too creepy and EDI's monologue too pushy to feel good for her. You were alive before, EDI! Didn't you know? I did. ;_;

I have a question for you guys, maybe it has been asked before but I didn't see it, with the evac scene of the EC when you don't pick the 'I love you line' but the 'You'd only slow me down' line, what happens/is said exactly?
It's impossible for me to pick it (seriously Bioware should have added more save moments). >>'

I wish there was a save right before the beam run, watching the vids on youtube isn't the same without my Shep's face.

I never picked the "slow me down line" and I never will. That would be horrible.

Have decided I will play again, but after a rest, to absorb everything and not rush into it! I would like to see all the variations. Talking to you guys helps!

Also, that Garrus Dream image. *oh my*

Well, the line in the Kaidanmance isn't terrible. It's just Shepard being a hardass. I don't think it's much different for a Garrusmance.

So... can someone lay to rest something I've heard? If Shepard's romancing someone else and Tali's dead, and no Dr. Michel, do he and Liara hook up if she's not with Shepard either?

I'm a savemonger or something and created a save of the autosave right before that scene so I can go back to that one moment any time I want (/I'm so very lame), so I loaded it and looked for you.

Garrus: We're in this till the end.
Shep: You're in no condition to keep fighting. Get to the med bay.
Garrus:  You can't do this solo, I...
Shep: That's an order, Garrus.
And then Garrus does that sad reach out thing before Shep tells them to go again. : < Not as cruel as I thought the option would be but I'd still never choose it.

You CAN make one yourself... I have a save that starts me out running to the beam and a few more at different points IN the Citadel.

What you have to do is get to that point in the game, before Marauder Shields, hit esc and alt-tab out.
Go to your Bioware -> ME3 -> Saves -> toon_you're_playing and copy then paste your most recent autosave file.
Rename the copied autosave file to have the same name format as the rest of your "numbered" saves and just put a number like _0111 on it or a number that is higher than your last full save.
Then you will see it as a laodable save - number 111 from the load screen.

There are several places you can do this at the end including AFTER starbrat convo so you can run all 3 colors without having to do the whole damn citadel slow-mo thing again and again.

Just esc and alt-tab again after your starbrat convo and do the copy-paste-rename thing there.

Yeah, I had to learn how to do that when I raged over there NOT being a save point after bringing down the first reaper in London and before the final goodbyes from the male crewmates.

I was PISSED I had to replay the whole damn beginning of London again to make changes.
But BSN came to the rescue LOL

Thanks, but I am on the Xbox, so I don't hink I can do that(?).  Is a shame, will just have to wait till I replay and use the vids in the meantime.

I did manage to do a quick save before during the Squad goodbye in London, just after the Vega goodbye and the com talks.  Woo!  But that's pretty much it.

Teeeeechnically, if you had a flash drive and got to that autosave point, you could exit the game, copy (or move) the saves to a flash drive, plug it into a PC, open the files, copy the autosave and rename it as sylnnn said, then put the saves back on the flash drive to move them back on the 360. I did something similar when I decided to get the ME series for 360... after I already did it for PC. Well, technically that was before ME3 was actually released, but I had preordered... Anyway, yeah it sounds like a lot of work so you might not be that interested, but it's not actually hard. ^_^

Okay, I'm never picking that option, don't care how renegade I play my Shep, she is not saying that! xD

Edit: Apparently I can do that, just need to read the few posts above this one. Who is lame now. -.-'

Hey, Garrus Fans!
We have just finished Act 1 of our comic “The Secrets of the mysterious Relic”

Posted Image

There are many brilliant story-arcs within the rich Mass Effect universe and we decided to tell one of them: A story that officially “never happened” while Shepard was in Alliance custody.
Miranda Lawson receives secret intel of a yet unknown Relay and reunites a part of the old team to investigate it. Your favorite Turian sniper made a promise to Shepard and decided to join as well!
Thought you might like it...

Every info you need: http://social.biowar...ndex/12415448/2
We appreciate every feedback and support!

I must say, Jennifer Hale's emotions in her voice was spot-on at the Normandy pick-up scene. Garrus' final line to her was perfect too.

Can't prove it, since I have no intention to kill Tali on any playthrough, but I'd suspect it's just a myth. With all the (not only positive) attention the Garrus / Tali pairing got, a Garrus / Liara pairing, under whatever weird conditions, would have stirred up some more than vague rumours, I suppose.

@flippedeclipse: Are the first lines of your Garrus/FShep story representative for the whole fanfiction? If so, would you mind writing "harmless" into the summary for any xenoprude-friendly story you might decide to write in the future? As for now, you've successfully scared me into not daring to open one of your works besides the tame ones I already know...

A hip hip huzzah for the EC's writers and VAs!  Whatever I personally think of the endings now, they did a great job with a bad situation.

.... Oops, lol. Usually the rating and first line sums it up, but I'll put a warning on these two. Sorry about that, mostly just copypasted from AO3.

Best voice acting scene in the whole ME3! In the whole ME series even. It felt so real. I completely melted :crying:
The way Garrus says "You've got to be kidding me" and the look he gave her...just wow! It's so powerfull and thick with emotion that for me it kinda overshadows the magical three words we've been waiting to hear from him in all 3 games.
Don't get me wrong, I was squeeing like an idiot when he said "I love you" but his protest against being left behind just did it for me.
Oh, Garrus how am I supposed to romance any other character in any other game....ever?! :pinched:

You can hear Hale's voice cracking up as she tells him she loves him...It's just amazing. Their expressions to each other are so intense.

Completely agreed. Still, I'd have loved to see a reunion as well, again with that amazing voice acting, looks and the whole "Shepard-Garrus-awesome"-package which has been perfected over the course of three games.

By the way, is it true that the Normandy has gotten a new 'look' for the Jungle-Of-Disappointment-And-Confusion planet, lacking the explosion marks the ship formerly had?
And when was the name of this thread changed? I like it, but at first I thought I had somehow ended up in the wrong place.

I'm probably the only one who's happy there's no explicit reunion scene.

Yeah I noticed the new Normandy look as well. Same with the mass relays, they don't seem as damaged as they used to in the original ending.
