Oh sweet spirits, right in the feels. :crying:

As far as my Shepard and jealousy - normally she's more than secure enough in the relationship to not feel that creep up, but I could imagine a particularly boozy night at some club, an overly lusty turian lass, and a few bad choices... Poor Garrus, not sure whether to intervene or enjoy the show.

My Shepard just get amused when Dr Michel hits on him and since she's romancing Garrus his and Tali's relationship just come off as more along the lines of siblings.

I just finished another game and God, Anderson's "You did good Child" speech makes me tear up every time. Why oh why did he have to die? ;~;

You thought Anderson's in-game speech was emotional? Listen to this. It was posted in a thread earlier today and goshdarnit I swear Bioware's responsible for this new-found maternal instinct I have.

How about a nice, clean audio of the femShep version? LINK

Maternal instincts, kicking into overdrive.

Yeah, me too. I got misty eyed a lot during ME3, but this scene was the first one to produce actual tears (On my 2nd playthrough no less. Must have been because I knew what was coming.). The name of the track that plays during that scene is "I'm Proud of You."  Just thinking about it gets me all... :crying:

I still think they should've kept that whole speech in there.

...GODDMANIT! WHY DID ANDERSON HAVE TO DIE REGARDLESS!?

IT'S OKAY, ANDERSON! WE'LL GET YOU A LAZARUS PROJECT ALL YOUR OWN!!!! :crying: If I can headcanon EDI and the Geth surviving in Destroy, I can headcanon Anderson surviving!

You have no idea how tempted I am to headcanon his survival. When he was passing out I was thinking 'quick! someone find some medigel!'

And yeah I have listened to the longer proud of you speech and I have the soundtrack. Makes me weepy every freakin' time. Just like the music from Project Overlord makes me a bawling mess. Seriously, it's like Pavlov's Dog. At Grissom Academy when the music started I was like 'oh god'. ;~;

This is an attempt to make anyone who looks at this happy again for at least 3 seconds. I'm going for 5 if I'm lucky.

TBH I figured either Anderson or Hackett (or both) would die in ME3.  They've both got that older wiser mentor thing going on, and those characters rarely make it to the end of a story.  Didn't stop me from crying my eyes out, though.

*notices sexy Garrus pic*

I feel better! :D

I know, I was actually listing off all the bad ass mentors who end up kicking the bucket after he died. Doesn't stop me from wishing he pulled a Gandalf. I still think about poor Kahlee too.

I love that outfit on him. Much better than his ME2 civies.

Funny, I always thought both Hackett and Anderson were going to die. I was very surprised Hackett was alive at the end of the game. I figured he was going to die at the beginning of the game after playing the demo. :lol: As for Anderson dying, I'm probably a sucker for tragedy, but I thought his death was incredibly fitting.

As for getting jealous, I don't think my Shep would honestly get jealous. She's pretty insecure when it comes to relationships (I headcanoned her being cheated on by her first serious boyfriend), but I think that she trusts Garrus enough not to get jealous of other women's attentions. And if she did, it would be more in a humorous fashion than anything else.

This.  Also, Shepard/Hackett is my new favorite semi-cracky pairing.  I blame the kink meme.

'I led the fleet that conquered the cthulhu army' is a great platform to run on.

I can't get behind non-Garrus Shepard pairings, I'm too obsessed. I still fully support crack ship goodness, though. Zaeed/Chakwas forever!

@Envy: It's a legit version that was cut from the game for some silly reason.

It's legit, but it was cut from the game. As much as I love those lines, I understand why they cut them. Didn't fit every Shepard.

I'm still not convinced that Turian legs would work at all looking like that to be honest....i mean consider how heavy and big his armour is, and how skinny his body is.

True. Guess they could have added a Renegade option along the lines of "No, I don't want kids."

Yes please :unsure:

And what are ye all talking about "kids"? Do you mean the scene where Garrus and Shep talked about adopting baby krogans? That was so very sweet - though I would be interested in how human-turian babies would look like... maybe cloning... hmmm.

Well he has some kind of exo-sceleton, doesnt he? Bugs have very small legs as well and relatively huge and heavy "armour", mind you.

Thats even better, actually have some dialogue wheel stuff...y'know, like ME used to have...

But most bugs have multiple legs to stand on. These guys are bipedal, the only contact with the ground they have is forward of their bodies' y axis.

I guess i'm just trying to understand their "physics" so to speak. A leg that thin just doesn't look.....(oh god, bad pun time) supportive or strong enough to keep them upright.

Yeah I know he looks thin, but he is just strong B) I know what you mean thought, I've wondered that myself, but I guess the armour is a light one, I remember putting on light armour on Garrus back in ME1 (when we actually had a dialogue wheel..). So, they are strong and tall, have an exosceleton and wear bulky but light-material armour.

Plus he looks kind of sexy to me :wub: (god I feel weird about saying it, but yes, I also do find him physically attractive. I'm just open minded I guess :)

I find Garrus incredibly attractive, even physically. I'm still trying to figure out how that happened, since it wasn't the case when I first met him in ME1.
