[Kaidan Fan]

I figured I would finally introduce myself as I've lurked here since ME3 came out.  Most of my romances are with Kaidan, but I recently did a couple Garrusmances and I've fallen for him pretty hard.

Is it okay to hang with you guys here too?

I am a huge Garrus fan and decided to throw some clips into a short Garrus promotional video. I was always a fan of the old Toonami promotionals and how they mixed their audio; something I tried to replicate here. I had a lot of fun making it and would love to know what ya'all think.

@Kaidan Fan of course! We may all be one-turian kind of women (or men) but Garrus is definitely not a one-Shepard kind of turian. He uh, gets around

Well with those smoochy sounds on the Citadel, I'm pretty sure (somehow) Garrus isn't only on the receiving end . If you pay attention to turians when they talk, their...uh...would-be lips (?) have surprising mobility. Makes sense if you don't think about it too hard. But that's no fun.

 
Yeah, it's not a beak.  There is some flexiblity there.  Obviously, it'll be different than a human, or an asari, or even a drell (or apparently, a quarian), but he's also the least humanoid LI.

You can actually see him perking his mouth just before the Citadel date kiss, it's so cute XD there was a gif that showed that so well but I don't know where it is...
I always thought they could kiss though, before ME3, even if not the usual way I figured as long as there's tongue... bwahahah(I know, my anatomy hurts).
(Not that "hooking up" means kissing is necessary though :x )

I don't have anything up as of now. I had a few things for a while on FF.N but my account was either compromised or a site error happened and I lost everything. I think the external drive that had all that on there is still in a box from our recent move D: 

Buuut the good news is, I'm working on something right now...it's no big sweeping epic, just a collection of little moments in their lives. I need to clean it up but it might be ready to see the light of the interwebs in the next couple of days.

Sure it is

I'd guess that most people around here have played (and like) other romances as well. Even if not, I have yet to see something like flaming here - this is (personal impression again) one of the 'safe corners' of the forum system, no trolls, no large-scale arguments or fights. More like a healthy dose of respect, the occasional picture here and there, some fanfiction recommendations and some pseudo-xeno-biology discussions. All in all, a pretty nice place.

I hear ya, I was just like you. I always romanced Kaidan and either stayed true to him or romanced Thane in the 2nd one. Then I got where I romanced no one, cause I hated how friggin pain in the butt Kaidan is. The constant questioning on her motives just annoyed me and Thane died, so wth...So I went back and played the 1st one and when I got into the 2nd, I realized I love Garrus. He is the super cool BF and who wouldn't want to be with someone like that? Now he is my only choice for romance

I always romanced Liara in ME1. Garrus was my Shepard's best friend.

But in ME2 when I found out Garrus was romanceable, there just wasn't any question as to who she would be with. Since then I've altered my canon Shep not to romance Liara in ME1, but Kaidan instead (I just don't have the heart to hurt Liara, but Kaidan is just so annoyingly mistrusting so I have no problem dumping him).

Garrus is by far the best LI for Femshep. Shep and Garrus forever!!!

I'm currently doing my second playthrough of ME3 and I didn't think Garrus' voice could get any sexier, untill I listened to his conversations with the team over the intercom, and DAMN it sounds even better. That conversation with Tali about being the only Turian on the ship, and he says "ummm" or "mmm" .... I melted.

Man it really sucks how they toned down his combat dialogue in 3. It just feels like hes not there.

Is there any flirty Garrus lines in the DLCs? I know that in the LotSB Shepard can say she'd giving Garrus peace (a little more than peace if you ask my Shep), but is there anything else?

Actually, I like to think of him concentrating harder on the fight.  There's more to lose.  He's already lost Palaven.  He's worried about his father and sister.  Hell, he's worried about Shepard, romanced or not.  I think it makes sense he'd be less chatty on the battlefield.  He definitely seems more subdued in 3.

But, YMMV.
