That comic  Makes me sad we didn't get a few more seconds of them before it cut to shepard waking up. This was talked about a few pages ago but I was surprised to find out there WAS romance dialogue between shep and Gar on the dreadnought. I just didn't notice it! Are there any more instances of this? Missions with lil moments like that, that we didn't pick up on? I'll admit to being derpy and not realizing "I know where you sleep" was a romance line .

 So, I don't really remember seeing anyone link this fanfic before. I stumbled across it earlier today and just finished reading it and thought I'd share.It's actually a story about Hannah Shepard and Sparatus during Relay 314 on Shanxi- with the occasional reference of Shep and Garrus. There were a couple disjointed moments in the story line and the occasional grammatical error here and there... but I thought the overall story was great.
Xenoprudes beware, there is some pretty awesome lovin in some of the chapters, which I'm actually sorry you wont want to read/will skip over because it's pretty good LOL

I do not specially care for lyrics in fanfiction, but I think since fanfiction itself is using copyrighted things -in the first place-, it doesn't make a lot of sense. It's artistically restrictive, and I don't want to support that. But it's their site and they can do what they want with it.

Anyway my problem is with:
1. never being able to see some fics again lol, but what can you do, some people aren't around anymore to back up their fics
2. the horrible, horrible bullies and flamers who are making clubs to gather everyone to flame and bully people (who are often kids) into changing their stories to fit the rules or quit the website. They're like 4chan and youtube in one place, and all the bad parts of the BSN. (and they do report what implies mature content - if they can't get stories down, they flame the author to death) They know you could just warn the authors and be polite and constructive, but all the people who talk to them get is the usual "freedom of speech" excuse people use to be jerks.

Yeah, it's their site, so their rules, but I'll be sad to see a lot of those fics go, especially while so much drivel is sure to remain

I will never understand the "freedom of speech" argument - rights only ever go so far that they do not impinge on other's rights. If your "freedom of speech" is violating someone's right to feel safe, it is not your right ot freedom of speech! People seem to forget that responsibilities are more important than rights, and they have to work together to have a proper system.

There was a short fanfic with Hannah Shepard and Nihlus floating around here somewhere.  I thought that was an interesting match-up...although I believe the author ended the story right when it got really good.

My feeling on the matter is, if it's rated, and there are warnings on the site about adult content... WTF is the problem?
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE OFFENDED OR SCARED, DON'T BE.  ( I don't me a you specifically, I mean anyone in general)
Go read something else or stick with kiddie ratings. Seriously.
It's not like I see much advertising on that site that they need to worry about losing money from sponsors that don't want risque subjects or anything...

Aight, sorry for the rant... Im just ragging over the possibility of so many great stories that I love going poof over delicate sensibilities.

I just wish FFN would stop being silly and put those adult content warning pages on already. That would solve all these problems, people wouldn't make petitions over it, no stories need to be deleted, and I can sleep easy knowing that a minor hasn't stumbled across my xenoporn and been scarred for life.

Trust me, minors have easy access to stuff WAY WAY worse than a little Garrus smut on the interwebs, adult content warnings be damned.

Parental controls on browsing are a joke to any kid over the age of 7 with an IQ over 75.

Ohhhh this fic. I love this fic. It was originally a kmeme fill. That got finished (praise Jeebus).
Sparatus. UNF. This fic convinced me to LIKE Sparatus. Also, he is written to be quite hilarious and different to how we know him in the games, but this doesn't go unexplained. Hannah and Sparatus' relationship is written so well. It's really endearing. But yes, my fellow xenoprudes be warned. It does have a few explicit scenes scattered throughout the second half.

Good god epilogue to "Mum" (proper english! xD) is fantasmically amazing and i do hope theres more on this interpretation of Shepard and her post-war years.

Its just too good.

I was thinking, as Shepard is curled up when she wakes up... and we know Garrus went to get some water, hence why he was up (according to the message he sends you on the app thingy)... her position perhaps suggests they were spooning... any thoughts?

That epilogue made me really happy when I saw it. Sure, the 'action-guns-blood' part doesn't really exist in the story line, but it's a heartwarming family picture with main characters who really stay in character. Even the children seem to be somehow 'real' and not just small adults, a thing I'd consider quite hard to achieve.

Oh god No! That wasn't clear - it was a rant against flamers and bullies attacking the stories and the authors, and using "freedom of speech" to justify their disgusting behavior! (Also applies to a lot of the BSN these days )

If there are warnings I fail to see the problem - you knew what you were getting into, it's your problem.

Gotcha. I was a little confused, but you cleared it up. Obviously thought you meant it as related to the stories, hence my little outburst  lol.

Yeah, I meant freedom of speech is all well and good, but it shouldn't be used to attack people, that's a violation of their rights.

If it is a flycam scene (not sure myself), then the angle is one of the few tolerable ones. View the scene from the other side and you'll see one of the most severe cases of clipping in the whole triology - both face meshes intersect each other.
