In Tali's comic, I couldn't believe the artistic work on some of the Turians. They looked horrendous! If I'd just seen a picture of one I owuldn't have known what I was looking at. (I think it's the one who called her suit rat). Not good!

Yes, and thanks for reminding me, by the way, that's something I have to change in my reboot.

for me, comic femturians, just add the neckplates. makes them look a bit better. although certain angles it can seem to not be there...

anyways I have a few ideas for some femturians, I think I'll go draw 'em... comic femturians could be a subspecies...

I assume if they are ever in game they will have neck plates. Honestly they don't bother me otherwise.

Yeah, they kept the design from the Evolution comic. To be fair, though, I'm just assuming the ME team told the Darkhorse people to trust in their artistic integrity and speculate. Darkhorse makes everything hideous anyway.

No, it's currently fashionable among certain turian women to have the fringe removed.  It shows they're not slaves to their environment and empowers them to further badassery.

/That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

That sounds incredibly painful. Wouldn't that be kind of like getting your scalp removed? D:

Bought the comic yesterday, I liked it well enough. The daddy issues part felt a little too dramatic for my tastes, and I'm not a fan of the rehashed dialogue, but overall it was good! Vague enough to still  have room for headcanon, but still manages to tell a story, just how I like it :D

On that unrelated-and-now-hours-old note: Did the Eragon series finish? Jeez. I remember getting that book when it came out, couldn't have been older than 14. Murtagh was the character that introduced me to the concept of fangirling actually, lol. So I've gone from your typical "tall, dark, and handsome with a troubled past" human to a badass alien with a sniper rifle. That's an upgrade in my books ^_^

How would Turian men complement their women on their fringes if they don't have one? Perhaps it's a fashion thingy, like how human women shave parts of themselves, Turians do the same... on'y all their fringe...perhaps

The series is finished? *cough* Eh, yes, as I said, I've read the first two or three books and then lost interest, but I am somehow impressed that I apparently managed to overlook the media hype connected to the end. Or wasn't there a huge final-book let's-celebrate action?

And about the female turians: There is at least one fiction out there where 'short fringe' was a fashion statement, so I am probably going to stick with that explanation for my headcanon. Or the neck plate explanation, that'd be fine too.

Yeah! And instead of packs of disposable razors, turian stores sells packs of disposable multi-colored crow bars!

Oh god now I'm thinking of Grunt's conversation. "A claw hammer. It's under the brow plate pulling it back, right? LOL!"
D:

Also, did someone say daddy issues?

Nope, nor the mother's. Unless I completely missed it hidden somewhere, but I don't think so. The dad only ever interacted with Garrus, and the other cops just said "your father."

Nice to hear - otherwise reading one of those older fanfictions where other names were given would be a bit strange.

While I like the Garrus / Kaidan picture above, I somehow find Kaidan's expression a bit peculiar. Though that's a 'problem' I had at some points in ME3, one example would be Shepard's final flashback of Kaidan, when romanced, which looked weird to me. Never had it with Garrus, with could mean that a) personal preference makes one more likely to overlook these things, or B) that the 'uncanny valley' theory applies and Kaidan is unfortunate enough to be rendered good enough to appear very much human like, but not good enough to really pass.

It really is. My MShep is very glad to have him around.

Not related to turians, but anyway: Is it really possible to see Kasumi "reunite" with Keji with the EC? Always got her looking at the graybox, if it was saved, but heard there can be another screen - somehow.

@Seleya: If you pick synthesis, Keiji comes back to life. No, I'm not even joking.

Edit: D: Top of the page...I'm unprepared! Here, have this:
