So, here is a really awesome Victorian esque picture that I found on DA. Garrus looks so dapper in Victorian garb!

LOL as amazing as that piece is, it just cracks me up because all through my childhood, we had a print of Les Hasards Heureux de l'Escarpolette hanging up in the living room for as far back as I can remember. Too bad the artist didn't draw the hat the girl wore in the original. It's called a bergère hat...a shepherdess hat

Sooooo I watched the expendables 2 recently...and I think I’m noticing a trend because I found the sniper (Billy) hot as hell . My boyfriend could feel me swooning in the seat next to him LOL.



He reminded me of a young garrus. Polite, respectful, quit his job because he didn't like how things were done and oh yeah, AWESOME WITH A RIFLE

I am glad that's not a possibility - otherwise all my MShep's would be severely tempted
Kaidan's and Samantha's romance already felt weird, no need to experience that with Tali or Liara as well.

On a side note: Is there any confirmed information about romance-related content in the coming SP-DLC?

Maybe I'm going to seem selfish on that one, but I really like the fact that some romances are exclusive to one gender, and some are not. And apart from the shower scene, I really loved Sam's romance.

About the SP-DLC, I have no idea. I hope so. Even a sentence or two would be a nice touch.

The shower scene is... well, I didn't like it, either. The rest is nice, but I always expect to hear Garrus' romance dialogue when talking to him, even if it's a not-romanced playthrough. As said, weird feeling.

Guess we will see what the DLC contains when it is released. Suppose I'll wait for comments, though, before buying - if the wallpaper with the Atlas implies that most of the mission is Shepard-only vs the universe, then I suppose I'll save my money.

Hello everyone. I've been lurking this thread for months it seems, ever since I finished ME3 the first time and came away with a prolonged feeling of depression. Confusingly, I also came away with a complete and undying love for Garrus, and that damn heaven-bar conversation was all I could think about. So I started reading this thread, and have greatly enjoyed the discussion within - so much so, that I started a new trilogy run with a renegade FemShep just to see how the Garrusmance plays out. (Also to buy some time for ME3 DLC to come out.)

Is it weird for a straight guy (currently engaged) to fall in love with a male video game character? Not if it's Garrus, I say.  Also, playing as Renegade FemShep is hella fun after my saint-like Paragon MaleShep.

But to actually contribute to the conversation, if you've seen the most recent Leviathan trailer it shows Garrus doing a fair bit of shooting. Why Garrus and no one else, I'm not sure, but hopefully that's some indication that your crew is involved a little bit more than, say, Arrival.

That feeling of "What???" after the end of ME3 is something I'd guess most (if not all) players have experienced. Some write fanfiction, others draw fanart, others enjoy their works. Solutions for everybody, and not in green-red-blue
Regarding the DLC: Yeah. If it turns out to be an Arrival-clone gameplay-wise, I think I'll pass. I am hoping that somebody around here will play it and drop a little note of "worth getting, Garrus is awesome in it" or something like that

I find it harder to connect to Tali or Liara as well, though I usually blame it on a severe lack of Y chromosomes. Still, it's the same for Thane or Kaidan in my case. But why not side with Legion and answer the question "Are we weird or is Garrus just so cool" with "yes"?

Its not strange at all. 'You' aren't Shepard, unless for some reason you are playing it as you. But otherwise, its no different from writing/roleplaying/ect an opposite gendered character.

I actually tend to hate the male love interests in bioware's games, despite being a straight female. My main romance in DAO was Morrigan. And for years there was no female player character in Harvest Moon games, which I pretty much ate up solely for the romance.

Tali is f*cking adorable, and it's a credit to her character/voice actress that she can emote so well without a face. She will always be my MaleShep romance.

Oh also, apparently "leaked files" show that your squadmates are in fact involved in Leviathan, so rest easy.
