I hope Garrus gets to shine more in the "Take back Omega DLC", remember how Shepard saved him, how he fights for justice, relationship with Aria, etc.
There were 3 romance parts in the DLC I can remember
- After Harvesters everywhere mission if you talk to Garrus on Normandy he says how he doesnt want to lose you.
- Being careful going down there all by herself in the underwater Atlas
- Saving her from brutes and helping her come to after being cold in the shuttle

That dialogue in the main battery is the reason why I smiled like an idiot for twenty minutes afterwards. I don't think Garrus has ever been this open about his feelings for Shepard.
I will love Bioware forever for this. I havn't been able to stop smiling actually, and really cements that their relationship is solid as a rock.

Garrus needs to be more open with his feelings for Femshep!
I wouldn't want Garrus to get too smushy - but balances it perfectly in his badass way.

SPOILERS
After second mission:
Garrus: Shepard. I admit I was worried about you on that dig site. Things got pretty hectic. Not used to feeling like that, you know. That’s what love does. Turns a guy like me into a nervous wreck with something to lose and the aim to make sure he doesn’t. Nobody better hurt you, is all I’m saying.
During third mission:
[These are mostly through tone of voice and actions. And also this is me paraphrasing, only the above one I've seen transcribed online:]
When Shepard is about to leave in the mech, Garrus says the plan is crazy and seems to stop short of telling her not to go. She says she'll be fine.
When Shepard returns, Garrus [I assume any squadmate will do this, but LI seems to have priority] rescues her when she falls between the fighting brutes. When they're back on the Kodiak he is frantic about reviving her ["She's too cold!" or something to that regard], but she recovers. Garrus gets serious business and tells her not to do anything like that again.

(spoilers)
In the original pastebin document they found in the EC, there was a line about not wanting to send Shepard down with the mech all alone...but that they'd probably get "distracted" if they both went together. The dialogue itself made it look like a Garrus line if I ever saw one, but when I went to talk to Garrus again after the final mission, he just gave me a line about having read the reports. Didn't have anything to say after that. I suppose it was either removed, given to another LI, or won't come up until after I do another mission? A bit sad.
Then again, my Shakarian heart has already been spoiled rotten with this DLC, so I can't complain too much

I assume it just belongs to another LI. Or they decided that it didn't fit the 'mood' the other scenes created, since most of the LIs seem a bit more worried than joking over the incident.

Yeah, you're probably right. Alas! As long as we keep getting moar Garrus in future DLC...

Still, I am conflicted about the DLC. Sure, even one line of Garrus should be a strong argument to consider buying it, but I have read too many spoilers about the general story.
Trying to avoid spoilers: I have become quite attached to what passes as a happy end in ME3 (i.e. destroy with headcanon that only EDI's body and some geth avatars are destroyed, happily-ever-after for everybody). From what I have read, there are possible effects of the DLC for this ending, and I am not sure how severe.

The combat can get a bit clusterf***y if you're not careful with how you take on the battles but that might just be me, since I usually play on Casual or Normal difficulties, nothing harder than that. There are some interesting things discussed/happening throughout the DLC. That one mission on the dig site, without spoiling, was deliciously creepy and unnerving, too.
All in all, I recomend it to anyone willing to buy it. Or wait until you get to see some Let's Play videos on youtube since we all know they're coming, and then decide if you're going to buy it or not.

I promissed myself I'll watch a playthrough on youtube first before making any decision on buying the DLC but let's face it, who was I kidding:pinched:
Damn you Vakarian, why must you be so irresistible?!
Thank you guys for sharing the sweet spoilers^_^

SPOILERS !
The Reapers now make me think more and more about HAL, in that sense that their actions are only driven by pure, cold logic, so I have even less remorse in destroying them.
And if, after destroying the Reapers, we have to face the Leviathans... hey. They're a bunch of scared, gigantic aliens that have been hiding forever and that are only worth 400 war assets. I'm sure the rest of the galaxy can take them down. That's how I'll headcanon it anyway.

Are they noble demons? Will they, once given freedom, float off to study things beyond our comprehension ala other space horror entities? Or will they try to take control? They don't say they will, so its honestly up to how you feel about them.
I admit I am a bit bias, I absolutely looove cthulhu type things, and the idea that the galaxy still holds some dangerous entities is very cool. As for Leviathans we know they think they are godlike, but apparently their thralls had enough free will to make robots that killed them. I don't doubt they controlled people, but if their thralls were able to think on their own and go against Leviathan's suggestions, it could be controlling isn't really their only goal in life.
Personally, my thinking is that given freedom, they decide to roam the galaxy. They've been locked up a while. Once they've done that, maybe they'll be the race that starts trying to travel to other galaxies, mostly leaving mortal races out of their major plans.

I've had similar concerns, but from what I've read and heard, it's possible to work around it. For one thing, even if they're still a problem... all of those Reaper corpses from Destroy are floating around Earth ready for salvage and backwards engineering. Just sayin'.
And I tried very hard not to spoil in that paragraph.

Some lonely guy managed to create a shield-upgrade that blocked their artifacts. So I guess they aren't so powerful and Godlike anymore, huh.
Besides Shep proved they can be reasoned with, not pure evil.
As for Garrus dialogue, again, great voice acting by Keener as always. I'm really surprised I don't hear the guy that often in games. He's awesome.

If in doubt, headcanon it... yeah. Thank you, and thanks to all others sharing their opinion. My frustration counter regarding ME is still so close to maximum that I was or am just sort of weary of new eh-how-bad-is-that kind of events.
Okay, with Krogan, Batarian, Quarian, Geth (headcanon-ed to survive) support and the usual Turian-Asari-Salarian-Human power mix, anything remotely sentinent would probably choose to go exile or to cooperate, regardless of their intentions. And 400 war assets, as in "take 6 pseudo MP N7 soldiers and they are stronger"? All right, shouldn't be a problem.
Besides, if there wasn't a little threat left in the galaxy, Shepard and Garrus would be bored on their honeymoon.

Well, they are organic (or at least that's the impression I got, not part organic-part synthetic), therefore no shields or reinforced plating that could whitstand a Thanix cannon to the teeth, so I'm guessing the united powers of the galaxy wouldn't have that much of a problem exterminating them if they didn't want to play nice. Also, they seem to be able to indoctrinate only with the help of those artifacts, so... yeah, good luck subjugating everyone like that, guys.

on Youtube first or something .. but guess who bought it as soon as it was released? Yeah ..
I had two playthroughs until now .. one with my Liara-mancing Shepard and, of course, one with my Shepard that is romancing Garrus
I, as so many others, also made some inhuman squeeing noises when I got the dialogue in the main battery after the second mission. I was smiling and giggling like an idiot for a good twenty minutes after that *sigh* And here I was thinking that I couldn't possibly love our favorite turian even more - I really thought that just was not possible. But then he says things like that and I just can't help falling in love even more
I also loved all the little stuff during the missions - the hand on the shoulder or the worry in his voice, just the subtle things that just show how much Garrus cares (not that I didn't know/doubted that before, but there no such thing as too much, hehe) ..
As always I will also try to play through the DLC with all my other Shepards and their LIs but, as always, I don't think anyone can and will make me squee and feel as heartwarmed as much as Garrus did.
