Besides, attractive young turian like Garrus?  I'm sure he's been around.  Maybe a grateful citizen or two of Omega or something :)  Even in my headcanon, where Garrus had feelings for Shep starting from the end of ME1, that's no reason for him to not get any in two years.  He thought she was dead, after all.
[...]

Possible, and probable. Though I don't think there were too many partners, he was busy shooting, after all - and he stayed alive when he got 'famous' with the gangs, which should mean a healthy dose of paranoia towards strangers on his part.
I can't see any evidence for the "oh, would he have problems to form a lasting bond??" theory in-game at all, though.

The Leviathans are sort of a danger to the galaxy, but with the artifacts as 'weakness' and their relatively low number I can't take them too serious. I believe they see themselves as very, very powerful, but I don't think it's really the truth. Especially now that the galaxy knows.

I always imagined he had a few flings on Omega, maybe even contacts. The weird thing is even though Garrus said he never considered cross species intercourse I can for whatever reason see him hooking up with an Asari on Omega as a fling. Don't know why.

As for Leviathan, my Shepard merely sees them as annoyance and dares them to try anything. The only danger she might worry about is the orbs. For the war it's required to have them spread out on planets, the Leviathans could use that as advantage once the war is over. But she united the galaxy once, she can do it again if need be, surviving the destroy ending and all.

If Garrus hadn't stated he never considered it, I'd guess Asari would be likely as well. But with very few exceptions (which tend to be centered around the ending) I take what's shown in the games as a "ground truth".

The orbs are probably tracked by the (interspecies) alliance, and I bet that there are some taken to STG outposts for study. Due to the research of Dr. Bryson and the others, people know how to shield them, so safe research should be possible.

But you are right, even without any successful research, with Shepard around the galaxy doesn't have to worry ;)

House Vakarian will calibrate its way onto the Iron Throne.  And then shoot everyone obnoxious in that series (which is most of them) with a Thanix cannon.

I had filed that picture away under "quotes I don't get", but now I thought for a second to have missed  a BG-related reference ^^ Game of Thrones? Don't suppose they've got a Sarevok, too? Your post doesn't sound much like an endorsement of the series, though.

I wouldn't say Game of Thrones really has a Sarevok or an Irenicus.  And I have...mixed feelings on it.

Long story short, I really liked the first three boks, but the fourth and fifth were literally so boring I wikied the plot, such as is was.  I think George R.R. Martin is great at crafting his world and characters, but he really needs an editor to take a ruthless axe to his material, and that just didn't happen in his later books.  His work also tends a little too strongly toward grimdark for the sake of grimdark for my tastes.

I see. Thanks for the info.

Still not completely on-topic, but at least related to ME2: A German gaming magazine collected its "50 top games of all times", and ME2 was given the forth place. The ratings are sometimes weird, but with BG II in the top 10 as well and KotoR and DA:O among the games, quite a lot of Bioware's (old) games received a good review. 'Good times', no matter if "killing the enemy with big guns" or by sword and magic.

So two questions: which game was #1, and was ME3 anywhere on the list?

ME3 and DA II were not on it. Neither was Skyrim - but Oblivion was, strangely enough. Okay, I recall that its graphic was very high-tech with some new algorithms or something like that, but the German version of Oblivion, unmodded, is terrible. There was a fan project to fix all grammar mistakes and spelling errors of the translation, and that text-only mod had a size of several MB. I love Oblivion, but only with a ton of mods.

No. 1, according to the ratings, was a Half-Life title, another was in the top 3. Don't ask me for specifics, I just checked out the games I played personally.

Hmm.  Probably Half-Life 2.  It's a brilliant game, but I've never been able to play FPS.  The camera inevitably makes me nauseous.

Yay!  Interesting results re: the quantity of content for Garrus.  I didn't realize that the desire to have more turian-centric content (Palaven, Garrus's family, etc.) was so widespread among the fanbase.  Not that we're likely to get it any time soon, but it's good to know it's not just us who romanced him asking for more content.

Oh yeah it is.

Turians are my favourite race since day1 and Palaven is really important in the storyline.
It's also the only planet we didn't visit.
It's great opportunity to showcase: Palaven, Garrus Family&Fem Turians all in one.
I guess it's just too big for people to resist.

There, there.  There's always headcanon.  Not like we aren't doing plenty of imagining anyway <_<

Also, I thought Steve was awesome, and I'm sure Garrus is willing to let alternate universe Shep do his thing :D

Hey everyone! Long time no see! Soon as I came home from my long vacation I played the EC and the levi dlc so I could finally come back to the garrus thread without spoiling myself ^_^. Got to say I was SO HAPPY with the garrus content in each, hopefully omega will have more! This game REALLY needs another hub world so I hope omega will have tons to do. Including a mission that will bring up garrus's past. Wouldn't it be great to learn more about his archangel days?

I have to say I was also delighted that I found THIS during my daily devianart search. Posted Image

Does EDI have special dialogue for Leviathan?

First off, Half-Life 2 is the greatest first-person shooter I have ever played. Seriously. Play it. It's pure perfection.

Second, *sigh*. I devoted my Wednesday night off to saying goodbye to ME3, and I spent literally the entire night and morning on it.

First I finished ME3...sigh. That was the first time I'd seen the romanced Garrus farewell dialogue, and, well, damn. I had wondered if the reactions in here were just typical fangirl squeeing, clearly I was wrong. And then the second goodbye, and the flashback, and the memorial wall...bravo Bioware, you've made a Garrusmancer out of me.

As for the ending itself, I was pleased to see that the EC and Leviathan really made it a lot more digestible. If they'd included this in the original release I suspect there would be no outcry.

After watching the ending and sitting through ALL OF THE CREDITS just taking it in, I hopped on youtube to watch all of the other endings (I chose Destroy). Then I watched alternate versions of the Garrusmance (different dialogue choices) throughout both games, and then watched various scenes of ME3 with different squadmates chosen to see the extra dialogue there. Then, for fun, I decided to watch the entire Liara romance throughout all 3 games. Gotta say, it's a damn good romance. And HOLY HELL the sex scenes, those were on a COMPLETELY different level than Garrus or Tali. Although I'm kinda glad they avoided that for Garrus, I wouldn't have been able to watch that. (Sorry. ;))

Alas, I'm done with ME. I've been playing it nonstop since January - running through ME2 to prepare for ME3, going through ME3 the first time, and then replaying the entire trilogy. It's been a fantastic ride. And this has been a fantastic thread to lurk on. Now, what to do with myself...

If you literally played ME since months, the answer to your last question should be "sleeping, eating, and saying 'hello' to your friends" ;)

The EC romance content is really a nice addition, but "more digestible" still didn't mean "great!!!" for me. Given enough fanfiction, headcanon, hypnosis and / or a tool to manipulate the in-game vids plus the desired screenshots makes the ending bearable, but not more. Personal opinion only, not trying to insult anybody who believes everything is fine.

@Sable Rhapsody: As far as I know, EDI is one of the few, if not only, squadmates who doesn't take over the 'interesting' dialogue lines when brought with Garrus. For me, she's also the only squadmate I have ever tried who makes Garrus stand on the "right" side to not disappear on Leviathan's asteroid shoulder-touch scene. Only observation, no guarantee that position is the true reason for the bug.
