But regarding the question about the ending and squadmate's choices: Personally, I can only see Garrus picking Destroy. During all my playthroughs, he tended to be the one who said the more aggressive lines, like advising to kill the Rachni, hold back the fleet to fight against Sovereign etc. These tended to be the 'safer' actions, too, from a soldier's point of view.
Or Refuse. I know it's most likely just a f*** you from the writers, but Refuse does have one thing going for it in-universe. It's a chance for the next cycle to end it all on their own terms, without dealing with the Catalyst. They'd have all Liara's information from our cycle, every edge they could possibly get against the Reapers. Whether the inevitable death of trillions of people this cycle is worth that opportunity is for the cesspool that is General Discussion to tear apart, but it's an interesting option, and one that I could see Garrus being ok with.
As for Synthesis or Control, Garrus is a heart person. Galaxy be damned, he's not just going to stand there and watch the person he loves walk to her death.
Garrus strikes me as a terrible cook

Dextro, levo, doesn't matter. His cookies could be used as slugs in a dreadnought's main guns.
Soap is probably a human thing, since it helps remove dirt stuck to our skin due to oil buildup. As far as I'm aware, reptiles and birds aren't as oily as we are. They still need to remove dead skin cells, but a scrubber and some water would do just fine.
