Garrus is definitely more romantic and more confident about himself in ME3 but Garrus in ME2 was funnier I also like Garrus more in ME3. I guess partly because the game is darker and there is a feeling that everything will end and then there are those good byes etc but also because Shepard and Garrus seems to be more like a couple and there is more in that relationship than finding out how they can make things work or are they both sure about the relationship like it was in ME2.

 

By the way I loved Garrus' date in Citadel and I was a little bit disappointed that he went there with everybody and not just romanced Shepard

I agree, while still cute, ME2 Garrus pales in comparison in sexiness to ME3 Garrus.

 

But maybe that's just me.

 

Never did the ME3 romance but I have seen the video of them dancing which was pretty cool.  I have been meaning to give it a try.

Even though I said earlier that ME2 Garrus romance is funnier but there are still funny moments in that romance in ME3 as well.

I feel like the Garrus romance in ME3 is so much more fulfilling than the Kaidan romance. 

 

But again, that's just me. I'm more partial to the "friends becoming more" romances because that parallels me and my husband.

Garrus in ME3 was more nesty. He mentions having kids at least twice, though they are mutually exclusive occurrences. The first time it comes up in a jokey way if Shepard breaks up with him during the Citadel date. The second time is of course during their London goodbye scene. I wondered if his biological clock was ticking.

You can break up with Garrus in Citadel DLC? I didn't know that. When I played Citadel DLC I didn't take Garrus to the party because I though I needed Liara there and I usually take my LI with me everywhere! Poor Garrus wasn't happy about it!

Nope, you can break up with him at the Citadel date when you shoot bottles with him.

 

But what monster would break up with Garrus?

@Obliviousmiss There are too many Citadel dates The bottle shooting and then the dance date. But I'm not complaining! I was thinking that it was possible to break up with him in the dancing date. Poor Garrus! That would have been horrible! He had learned to dance and then Shepard would have said that she wasn't interested in him anymore!

Another bit of Garrus headcanon: In the non-Refusal endings, after Shepard's death, Garrus becomes the official (if they're still part of the Alliance or Council military) or unofficial (if they're just a group of friends now) leader of Shepard's former team. He's definitely the most qualified, and he's always seemed kind of like Shepard's second-in-command to me.

I'm not sure was there other "right" options in choosing the leader to the other team in suicide mission at the end of ME2 but I always chose Garrus and I liked it that you both had your own teams to lead instead that Shepard would have always been the leader.

Shepard: "I don't think kissing Turians will be necessary."

I was expecting more at the end of the ME2 but I can't say that I was disappointed. There was also the kiss when you meet Garrus in Normandy for first time after Palaven. It was so cute too!

I just completed Garrus's romance in ME2 (finished the Suicide Mission).  I have a few more missions I'd like to complete (N7 missions and DLCs), and then it's time to import her into ME3 for some more fun with Garrus !

 

I do wish you could do this in ME3 though

And that's what fan fiction is for I guess. I would have loved people to actually offer to hug my Shepard or take her out to drinks instead of just asking her if she was ok. REAPERS ARE DESTROYING EVERYTHING AND NOBODY LISTENED TO HER WARNINGS OF COURSE SHE'S NOT OK!
