Stroke of genius, as long as it's done in a Horde/Firefight kind of way. Holding the line against wave upon wave of AI baddies, working together with three (or less) people you actually met on here.

Wouldn't be that difficult to create, nor would it consume a lot of time or resources. Some of the tasks (or the majority of them) could even be outsourced to one of EA's other studios, such as DICE.

I wouldn't let DICE do it, but I'm not adverse to Bioware adding some kind of multiplayer such as a survival mode. Relatively easy to do and mostly harmless fun.

I don't think it would add depth.  It would just be another feature.  Maybe as a DLC, I would be okay with that because they then made it after putting all their effort in SP.  But I probably wouldn't buy it...

I don't see it happening, but I have nothing against it. I don't think it would be one of those mystical things that diverts so many resources that the game would suck if it was included, But end of the day the class system make sit hard to implement a co-op unless they do something like remove classes. So, considering how much they would have to trim to make it work, I doubt it would be worth the implementing.

The idea of multiplayer is a red rag to a bull around here. Even hearing the devs state that ME3 will be a single player only game hasn't put the issue to bed. That should be the end of it, but with EA lurking behind the scenes with their Call of Duty market share itch, you just can't be sure. I'll only breathe easy once the game is released and it has no daft multiplayer aspect. The devs already said multiplayer couldn't be done well in ME3, so i'd love to hear what's changed if multiplayer does turn out to be included in the game after all.

I wonder what all this folks try to find out repeating the same topic all over again - no, we haven't been all indoctrinated by EA, DICE and whoever else and the most popular answer will be [sten]No[/sten]. Or just mine "search" field works in another way than others?
On topic: No multiplayer for ME3, there are far more important thing to be in it than multiplayer

Its perfect as a SP, has been for 2 of 3 games it would be stupid to put MP in at the end of the Series... Christ just wait for the MMO lol

if there WAS mutiplayer, then I bet there would be several colored N7 Armor Shepards with Helmets on, running around omnishanking each other and then squatting down on top on the killed players.

Nope. Don't want it, traditional MP is not for every game, it is a very fickle beast that if not done right will just leave people disappointed and result in them jumping ship by the droves. I respect developers who know when to play it safe, developers like Rocksteady who stated and I paraphrase "If we added MP to Arkham City we would end up with two sup par games, and we don't want that. Or ID who recognizes that they already have plenty of games that offer traditional ID MP and decided to leave it out of Rage. And Bioware who apparently was thinking the same thing. I would rather have them focused on bringing everything they can to the SP; then entering the foray that is MP for the first time. Beyond that the deck is kind of stacked against them, I fully suspect that between Uncharted 3 and Gears of War 3, ME3 wouldn't stand a chance. Not to mention MW3 is going to be out near the endof 2011, and while I can't stand CoD games, BO and MW2 are still at the top of the xbox live charts so clearly these games are good at retaining their audience. Better BW wait for another opportunity before it decides to enter the realm of MP... if at all.

As a DLC, released later, that is not even in production and won't be part of the main storyline? I'd never play it, but why should I care?
