So, yeah, ME2 made Mordin my favourite video game character(tied with Glados) and Me3 just keeps his awesomeness going.
I'm geniunely surprised this thread is as small as it is, though i suppose thats Mordins own fault for turning Shep down in ME2.
Oh and the pictures of Mordin on here are fantastic.

Michael Beattie himself is fairly convinced at this point that he is not in fact reprising his role as Mordin in Mass Effect 3.
The following is a snippet (Beattie's response to me) through email after I inquired about his status. You can feel free to verify its legitimacy; that is indeed his email and that is indeed him. Simply open the pic in another tab (or whatever it is your browser requires) in order for it to zoom to a more legible state.

Please don't rush to send Michael a billion emails, though -- I'm sure he's a busy guy with a life of his own. Instead, direct your attention at social networking sites like twitter. Spread the news that Beattie hasn't been contacted. Contact BioWare (but be polite! They're people too, you know!) and express your dissatisfaction at the thought of someone else taking over the role.
You heard it straight from the mouth of Mordin... we need to make some noise or it might not be Michael bringing us philosophical musings and hilarious showtunes come March.

Who can / should I send twitter messages to to show my support for Michael Beattie being brought back as Mordin? So far I really only know Casey Hudson's twitter.. is there anyone else I should send a message to?
Ack, good question. One which I should address once I update the OP.
Well, for starters, you might try @CabLivingstone. He's the VO director for Mass Effect 3. Unfortunately, he isn't on often.
You know, though, tweeting @MassEffect and @MassEffectNews (the fan-run one) would be a very good idea. They both have a few thousand followers. I already tweeted the later with this news and asked for a potential RT; so far he hasn't done so, but I think if enough fans request it, he might come around. (That or he just hasn't gotten around to it, heh.)
What we really want to do, I think, is reach the maximum number of fans through those twitter accounts, and they can then turn right back around and tweet Casey and the gang.
Try @MacWaltersLives too. Lead writer and all that. No real immediate involvement but hey, he's a higher-up.

I haven't been on the forums much of late, so Michael Beattie actually is getting replaced. WOW.
Let's not be totally hasty here. I want this fan campaign to succeed, and I think if anyone's word should be taken as evidence to support the likelihood of replacement it's certainly Michael himself, but all the same Keith David (Anderson) wasn't contacted for role reprisal until September 2009 -- four months out from ME2's launch. If Mordin has fewer lines this time (which to be frank is rather likely) then it's entirely possible BioWare simply hasn't reached out to Michael Beattie yet.
All the same, and again, Michael is incredibly skeptical. And that's not a good sign at all. So that's why we need to spread the word.

So, is there any official facebook group to support Michael Beattie as Mordin voice in ME3?

I haven't started one yet as I very rarely use facebook myself. But that is a wonderful suggestion. I might start one tomorrow if no one else has.

Here's hoping common sense prevails and the original VA for one of BioWare's characters is there for the finale.

What's this I hear about Michael Beattie not voicing Mordin in ME3?
Yes, please read the original post as it's been modified to reflect the situation. There's also a thread on the ME3 discussion board about it. Please take a few moments to contact BioWare if possible -- the louder we are, the higher the chances we'll get a response... maybe!
(But do remember to be civil!)
