Thanks to GeneralSlotts193 for giving me the heads up about this new thread. I'll post here what I posted in the other thread.

Some of you probably remember me as the guy who put together last years massive Mass Effect cast interview.

http://thegaminglibe...rview-part-one/

Well, I have two things to say...

- I'm interviewing two more cast members. I can't say who though. But you'll love it!

-On thegamingliberty.com we've posted a competition for people to with one of two glossy 10x8 prints of Mordin Solus signed by Michael Beattie himself. I'm posting this here because I know you all love his work. So don't miss out!

http://thegaminglibe...s-signed-print/

Best of luck!

Awesome!

By the way, I've seen you guys discuss the fact that Michael Beattie seems to not have voice Mordin in the E3 footage. After the comp I promise you we'll get down to what's up there and get an official statement from Michael. To me it sounds like a place holder but watch this space! As always though I'll also post that here once it goes live.

It's believed that Mark Meer voiced Mordin in Demo.

I noticed that immediately when I watched the demo. Something was most definitely amiss with the doctor's voice. No doubt it's placeholder. Better be!

Well, myself and Michael chat now and again ever since the 2010 interview so I'll hit him up about it sometime soon. Anyway, thanks for entering the competition! :)

"I'm commander Shepard, and this is my favourite scientist salarian in the galaxy!" :)

Good old Mordin... I always make sure he survives the SM, as there's no other salarian I'd rather talk to about science (and "hold the line" with)...

Can't wait to see his complete role in ME3...

Also, yes, as far as I can remember Michael Beattie said he loved Mordin's depth as a character, and said he'd love to be able to voice him again, so it's reasonable to assume he'll be Mordin's VO again in ME3...

I love Mordin's voice and armour and powers and character and everything.
He is my favourite ALien character and I hope he will be with you more than in a container with a Krogan Princess..

Considering we will visit Sur'Kesh in ME3, who hopes we'll at least catch a glimpse or mention of Mordin's dalatrass sister(s)? Maybe the mother of his nephew? :D
After all in every salarian batch of eggs around 10% are fertilized and hatch as females, so Mordin should have at least a sister (possibly more though), and I'd love to see more of the Solus family...

True... They'll be just as old as him (and by salarian standards Mordin is quite old) so maybe they died already, but still, one can hope! :)

Thanks. I know I'd rather hear the answer from Casey Hudson, but if Michael Beattie is able to say anything, that would be great as well. =>

Your both very welcome!

I promise I'll try and get a comment from him but I guess it's up to him if he wants to talk about it. Still, from my interactions with him over the past few months he comes across as such a nice guy who truly loves the Mass Effect universe and greatly appreciates the support of the fans.

if he ever asks you into a testing chamber? run the other way and never look back.

...unless of course, you want to test... :D

I would love to meet "favorite nephew:"

and lastly Retro.... let him know that we all think he's amazing!

My life's mantra post ME2 has inevitably become,

“Lots of ways to help people. Sometimes heal patients; sometimes execute dangerous people. Either way helps.”

My favorite Mordin line has to be when you're talking with Aria about Archangel,

"Need guns. Oh, wait, have guns. Excellent!"

I love how he drags out the word excellent like the true archetype of a mad scientist does while wringing their hands.

The winners have been emailed and they are as follows...

1- MoonEcho
2- Rob2D

Thank you so much for all the entries! Seeing the huge reaction to it I'll try and work on more Mass Effect related signed posters by other actors. So don't worry if you didn't win... there may be more on the way! ;)

By the way, Michael Beattie is totally aware of you all! Keep loving our favourite scientist, guys and gals! :)

When it comes to performance, delivery, and writing Mordin Solus is the shining star of Mass Effect 2. He's to that game what the Joker was to the Dark Knight. He's in my top 5 favorite characters of the franchise and I'm very much looking forward to seeing him again in Mass Effect 3.

Agree. Funny, clever, deep. Plus, he's brilliant in a firefight. I will be sorely disappointed if I never see Mordin again.
