Hi, maybe wierd problem or not, new to PC EA games. I was playing Mass Effect 2 just fine until today. When I started up the game I got a warning about not Authentication of my DLC's that I originally downloaded with my cerberus code. These downloads are in my profile on EA and there new origin. When in the game finally I have to relog in to my EA account and now EA wants my cerberus promo code again otherwise my save file dosen't work at all. This game worked fine until now and now nothing unless I put my code in again. My only problem is that I do not have this code anymore on the cardboard. I still have the code on the back of the manual which dosen't help me now. I guess I foolishly thought I didn't need this code again once I put it in.
So any thoughts, I am out of luck??? I assumed that the code would be linked to my account somehow but I don't see it anywhere, just the downloads for the DLC's.
If I have to purchase a new cerberus code for my save file to work I will not!! seems just down right stupid to have save files linked this way. Should be once I authenticated the code the first time, that should be it and all should work.
I was warned by a very large group of pc users not to buy EA games because of problems like these and I can see why!!
So if the only solution is buying a new cerberus code to get my save file to work again, then this game comes off my harddrive and I will not buy others from this company.
My last bit of advice to EA is if your going to have a online profile then have everything linked to it or record what is activated within your games...go all the way to help your customers  not half ass.
Thank you for all your time......

The way I have always understood it was the code was only entered on this site to allow you to dl the content. The game should be asking for your email and password to link to this site, but shouldn't be reauthenticating after it has done so once. The bioware servers are getting a bit flaky lately with DA2 and now it seems ME2 having issues. You may try to just link your account email and password and see if that works.

Please register the game on the forums. This is not an accusation, but given the spate of users with illegally downloaded copies coming to the forums asking for help, forum registration is the only way we can be sure we are dealing with a legit copy. Illegally downloaded copies include hacked and modified files which could be either corrupt, or full of malware. Once its registered, we will be happy to help. Forums Registration here;

DLC do not appear on your profile on EA's website, which leads me to doubt the validity of your statement. If you wish to prove me wrong, pease provide a link to where I can easily check mine.
Seeing as you have ot bothered to read the forum description, which clearly states taht these are user to user support forums, and official tech support is performed by EA, all I have to say to you is quit your whining, register your game on the forums, and post a proper error report as detailed in the Read First thread.
Threatening to "not purchase another game from this company" on these forums will only get a reponse along the lines of "toughen up princess."
