Assuming all interested parties survive. It would be nice to see that in the epilogue.

Not a fan on the wedding issue. I know the Liara fans are wanting it, some also seem obsessed with the kids. Though I'm not with Liara and Shep it's not a subject I really care about. .

I'd prefer not. Some people may not like the idea of a wedding, and for those who romanced aliens there's the issue of each species having different traditions and maybe not recognizing 'marriage' in the same sense. I imagine if there was a wedding cutscene it would be made generic to fit all the LIs regardless of their beliefs or customs, which to me would be dumb.

If there's a wedding (or actually a choice to get married or not) for one LI, I think it's pretty granted there will be for all of them. To me a simple 'happy together' cutscene at the end would be enough but hey, if there's more it'll only be better

I don't think Shepard would be ok with settling down. Not after everything that's happened and everything that there is left to do. "The rush of battle is often a potent and lethal addiction, for war is a drug." Hurt Locker was a great movie btw.

Well, I don't think marriage = settle down. Even if married, Shepard could still go on doing missions for the Alliance. Even Spacer Shepard has a military family, his/her birth wasn't an obstacle for his/her mother's career, and he/she wasn't traumatized for being "abandoned" or something like that. People just tend to adapt to different ways of life - as hectic as they look.

I can totally imagine Shepard marrying Kaidan, Ashley, Liara, Jacob or Miranda, and keep doing the same things he/she did when single. The others LIs could be more of a problem, but nothing is impossible.

It wasn't Arrival, it was when Liara takes the tour of the Normandy in the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC.  If you romanced Liara in ME1 and kept that relationship going, Liara asks if this all ends tomorrow what about us.  Shepard's response for happily ever answer is "Marriage, old age, a lot of little blue children."

As long as it isn't forced on all Shepards ... ok.

But if my femshep is drug down the aisle to Liara .... that would not be good. Image IPB

After all my femshep does not want to ever get married and Liara knows that.

Agree it should definitely be optional.

I'd be happy with a middle ground, wherein marriage/something more permanent than just trysts in the captain's cabin is suggested and Shepard or the LI can comment on it.

No actual wedding. Not all Shepards want it, it might not even be viable- you know, what with the Reapers blowing the hell out of half of the galaxy, all those priests might be off giving last rites.

I think the marriage thing should be left for the human LI's. Since aliens have their own different customs.

And I think that decision should be left up to the player. Although, seeing Shepard and their chosen LI sharing a sweet moment at the end would be enough for me.

I'm neutral on the topic. If they add them, cool, but I won't complain if they don't.

While the idea of Shepard finally getting hitched and "settling" down is an interesting idea, "happily ever after" is just as good. But Mass Effect doesn't seem all that fairytaleish to me, but then again, a happy ending would be nice to see. Will have to see what Bioware intends on doing for endings.

No.
Why waste dev time and resources for something like this? Seriously, I would rather see Shep do the macarena than have a wedding implemented.

Only if it is optional. Plus I would rather it be implied than played out. It seems a bit much for a game like ME
