If any existing characters are changed to meet fan fetish, I will have to acknowledge that Bioware's developers have gone insane and will have to dump the series on principles of literary integrity.

Then if you don't play these "perverse" romances, why do they bother you? You don't see them anyway.

One can't swing a stick without running into such on these boards, and it is all development time and effort that can best be used elsewhere. They should keep the romances simple and not pander to audiences with unusual interests. Leave that to fan-fiction in the wastelands of the internet.

If the "advice" of all of these topics was followed, everybody on the ship would be some bisexual LI and half the game would be devoted to these romances. These character topics are almost entirely devoted to what people want to sex-up as opposed to any more meaningful discussion. You would hardly believe they are people here who like characters and don't want to sleep with them.

Yes how dare people have their own ideas! *massive sarcasm*

There's a difference between an idea, and a fetishistic sexual fantasy.
I only have a problem with the latter.

This forum has problems man. They won't stop until they have some orgy involving EDI, a krogan, and God only knows what else.

It's only okay to romance a Krogan if it's Wrex.

Hmmmmm Wrexy:wub::wub::wub::wub:

Well people have fetishistic sexual fantasies about literally anything you could possibly think about.
The easiest way to get by is to simply ignore the sh*t you don't like and enjoy the sh*t you do like.

Which would be fine if people weren't shoving it in each other's faces and Bioware had unlimited resources and time. None of those things happen to be the case.

The Joker romance isn't going to happen.
Let them have their fun.

Bioware has this nack for making games amazingly good.
They also have this amazing ability to allocate time and resources in a way that works out for just about anybody.

Wondering if perhaps we should have a seperate forum category for those folks whose ideas are a little on the wild side. We can call it "Mass Effect 3 Character and Romance Discussion (for immature sexual deviants)"

Then I can read character threads without the constant urge to throw up.

By whose definition of "sexual deviant" are you going to operate under.
For some people literally anything beyond "lights off, socks off, face to face" is deviant.

It's all relative.

Works for me. Did you know the biggest group of the bunch has their own blacklist of posters? It says a lot about the maturity of these sexually frusterated teenagers. I'm sure you'll end up on the list in short order.

Hanar, krogan and geth fantasies probably define deviance for me.

Avoiding people who spew hate at you?
Marking them out so they can be easily identified?

Bastards! They should just sit there and take the hate like normal people *maaaaaasssssiiiiiive sarcasm*

OP, you are absolute right. I still cannot believe why they made Thane, Garrus and Tali romanceable. They aren't humans, and apart from the Asari, who can be romanced with anybody, it's an absurde idea. It's as absurde as some... weird [politely speaking]... couples D&D makes with their humans.

Oh look it's another banfase bashing gently offered by Zemiious with the great ReconTeam as special guest. Cool story bros. If we're all so dumb and sick, and full of problems why you spend so much time in the forum? You're in so desperate need of bashing supposed inferior people to feel smarter that you are? Greeeeat.

There are two others sections for talk about ME3, if you don't care of the romances, and/or just don't share some fans tastes and expectations simply leave the place.

Or you can open an Anti-Joker-Alliance too and keep going with your pointless internet hating.

We're talking of a fictional universe, where impossible things can happen, if after popular demand BW finds a way to make Joker romanceable, amen. Good luck JokerFans :)

I completely agree with the OP. Why does everybody need to be romancable?
