Uuuh, no? Criticise and disagreement are not the goals of the hate threads: they exist only to treat like s**t who doesn't share the opinions of the thread creator. The only goal of Zemiious is provocate people, as his few past threads proove it, and ReconTeam have a long story of various fanbases bash dictated by the most dumb/intollerant reasons. I don't know you, so I won't start an argument, because you look simply a person who don't want Joker as romanceable, and not an hater waiting an excuse to call "creepy and oh, so sentitive fanboy/girl" who disagrees with you. Which causes me no problems. Disagreement is ok, it's good to see/ear things that came from a different perspective, but don't be so naive to confuse that with hater stuffs

Yes, I agree so much with you my mouse automatically flew to the quote button. These romances remind me of my high school years where you couldn't have female friends without the implication that you wanted to bone her. even worse, these fans remind me of the group of giggling girls who hanged out near my locker. Their voices enough to induce vomit and disgust. These suggestions bring about the same feeling. it's like none of them take the time to actually think about what they're thinking about. Should Bioware even attempt to implement this crud, what is left of our game? A steaming pile of yaoi fanservice with furries galore, but yay we can romance fking joker. what kind of game is it when we are boning cripples? Shepard is suppose to be a badass soldier not some sort of weasely pimpled teenage boy.

I've put up with alot of crap from this fanbase but I'm drawing the line here at Joker. Can't there be just one thing you guys don't pervert? we get a cute little sidekick, edi, you guys want to make it into a sexthing. We get a funny little pilot, you guys want to make him romanceable. I seriously use to like the idea of in-game romances, added complexity, depth, and a little more fun to the whole rpg experience.. but its quite obvious now that the general populace just can not h.a.n.d.l.e these virtual couplings. you guys go out of your sh!ts when it comes to these fictional characters.  If we left the fanbase incharge of development, the game would spin out of control and fast.  We'd have space unicorns, everyone would be shacking up with shepard at the same time. orgies would be common place.half of the game would be about getting virtual ass instead of gameplay.

Put yourself in my shoes for a second. you're playing this game that you really enjoy, you're playing as a badass soldier who's trying to save the universe and then, WAIT A SECOND, suddenly everyone is romanceable and theres no go'damn boundaries!! suddenly it's not about the saving the universe, its about your virtual booty calls. Suddenly, the idea of romances make you sick to your stomache because they are just about fetishes now.  And you expect this to be good? Lol. don't fool yourself, anything to detracts from the overall canon of the game will not be _good_ ever. What game are you playing where shepard can start shacking it up with Joker? Tell me, because maybe you got the wrong game.  While we are at it why don't we just remove the shooting bits and focus on ROMANCE DIALOGUE!!!

Your problem is that you assume that every PoV different than yours will bring to a perversion of the game. I'm just saying that if the developers think that they can make Joker romanceable without "ruin" his character I don't see why they shouldn't. It's not like you're forced to 'mance him if he becames a possible LI: if you can't tolerate that exist different ways than yours to play ME there is plenty of others videogames with one way plots that you can play, with you'll be sure that there won't be supposed creepy and childish fanboys/girls that idolize supposed abominable alternate version of the story, p!ssing you off.

How the bloody hell can I ignore my PILOT. It's not like he's going to jump into a hole and disappear. I'm going to see the insinuating romance dialogue no matter what. I talk to him make a snarky comment and BAM, suddenly i'm down the romance path. no, I'm not putting up with this crap. You people should just leave well enough alone. Why is that SO HARD to understand?  Everything has to be changed with you guys.

OP, you are absolute right. I still cannot believe why they made Thane, Garrus and Tali romanceable. They aren't humans, and apart from the Asari, who can be romanced with anybody, it's an absurde idea. It's as absurde as some... weird [politely speaking]... couples D&D makes with their humans.

The drell were designed with the sole purpose of being a romance option, they were made to be attractive to females, you know since the asari weren't really fair to a lot of straight females, hell it's also why Thane was originally meant to be a bisexual option. If there was no romances then there would be no Thane, it's the entire reason he was created.

YMMV on whether or not the Drell actually are attractive.
