 Do you remember when you played through Mass Effect 1?
Some of the uncharted planets had extreme weather,
well I was thinking if this is being brought back 
in Mass Effect 3, there should be some armor upgrade's
that you can find or buy in the game to help improve your
armor to withstand these harsh invornments so your hazard
reading does not drop down to 0 and you start taking damage from it.

You can get upgrade attachments for your weapons, so why not
have something to help your armor aswell?

That wouldn't really make sense, since Shepard could withstand the hazardous environments on the side missions in ME2.

And I'd like to think that they have upgraded the armor enough to make it endure those minor annoyances by now.

This could work but I don't think ME3 is going to have the open world exploration that ME1 had. So we would need levels with moderately severe weather repercussions and then they would need to show up often enough to warrant this kind of upgrade.

Another thing to think about and ask is how often will we be going to uncharted worlds if our main goal is rallying other races to our cause.
