Hadn't notice it mentioned yet and was curious what the procedure was going to be when purchasing Warden's Keep once we all have our copies next week. Will it be a log in via the social engine or through the bioware store or some other completely different system alltogether? Warden's Keep is still slated to be available on Nov 3rd I assume?

Sorry if this has already been answered, I looked a bit and didn't see any mention so I figured I'd put it out there to get a good idea of what to do once getting my copy of the game. Thanks for any information.

Well there was talk of the ingame NPC that "you" have to engage in convo with and he speaks in theme with the world, and speaks of tales of quests and he can issue the quests presumably but you again because it's DLC you have to pay, so PC may take you outside the game, as with 360 a marketplace window will pop up so on and so forth. However with XBL marketplace and PSN store you can go ahead and download it and I dont even know if you have to talk to the NPC after you DL it will have to play the game and see.

For consoles it will be both through XBL/PSN and the bioware/EA in-game store but not all things in the bioware/EA store will be on XBL/PSN so I suspect it will be much the same for PC. Some things you'll be able to get from whoever distributes for PC but not everything, you'll have to turn to the bioware/EA store for some things.

Both DLCs and the armor will be available through both options at release but not all DLC will and it's unclear how the individual bonus items will be available so some if not all preorder/bonus items might turn out being only redeemable through the bioware/EA store but that's just my speculation.

Makes sense, thanks for the quick reply, I had actually forgotten about DLC NPC's. I'm hoping its fairly easy to get just right off the bat after installing, perhaps via the main game menu (pc version) Would make things a tad easier than going to the various bioware sites trying to figure out how to purchase and download it.

You will have to log in and download any of the extras you are entitled to on the PC unless you bought a digital edition which comes with the items preloaded and not all of the digital editions work that way. You'll be able to access the store from the main menu. Log into the store using your EA account and enter the codes that come with the game for each piece of DLC, whether it's the Stone Prisoner or pre-order items. You will then have access to that DLC from your account forever, at least for non DA:J DLC.

You'll buy it from the EA store, much like Mass Effect's DLC. You can also get it in-game via the Journal or an NPC.

I also suspect it will be bundled and sold normally at some point.
