Granted,

He knew that the locusts would bring you gold and silver for the rest of your life, but what neither he nor the locust told you is that they are gold and silver fillings from the bodies of your ancestors. The local pawn shop suspects you of grave robbing and contacts the authorities. The locust are crafty however, and only leave only signs of insect descration. Though you remain eternally a person of interest, no changes are ever brought against you. Further, between the locust and the reptiles you own to stem the tide of their population, your gold and silver fillings only bring you mild joy, as most humans shun you and find you, well, creepier than you already were.

I wish for... ...popcorn necklaces.

Granted,

My being charged with canabalism after wishing for popcorn necklaces was so non sequitur it took your power for granting/corrupting wishes to another level. You spend much of your life trying to recapture the magic, though never resorting to using an army of flesh rending weasels.

That reminds me: I wish for an army of weasels.

Granted, sort of...

A Jin arrives at your house and hands you a thick document which details how you or anyone can play any game from any region on any system for which it was formatted. However, this information could be misused in any number of ways. In response to you posting this document on your website the major hardware and software developers sue you... ...yadda yadda yadda... ...now everyone hates you and everything else is pretty much as it was before.

I wish that I had better control over my homocidal HoH urges.

However, it goes tragicly awry. Both sustain head injuries and as is standard fair for cartoons, the end result is that both of them become far more inteligent and likely to obey social mores. However, they recall their old lives and wish to return to their carefree days of banality. Sadly, further head injuries not only don't return them to normal but further increase their intelect making them more and more able to comprehend the complexities of the universe and depressed. In a two part crossover "A Very Special Simpsons" and "A Very Special Futurama" both casts of characters try to deal with their double suicide. Though the shows are both very well done and further the cause of suicide prevention a great deal, it marks the absolute end for both these series.

I wish for an animated retelling of Planet of the Apes where cats become the dominant species.

I wish my cable company were better and I wouldn't have had my signal strength degrade to the point where Episode 2 Season 6 of Dexter was unwatchable.

Granted, your cable company manages to provide exceptionally strong signals and the visual-audio quality is simply unbelieveable as it renders current technology outdated; but that signal strength only lasts from 3 o'clock in the morning to 4 o'clock in the morning and the rest of the programmes that aren't in that slot aren't worth watching.

I wish for BioWare to remake Battle Chess with a storyline and an added love interest subplot.
