In response to 3ZI0RR3:

Granted, however, on the first day after aquiring your pyro powers, a magnitude 8.8 earthquake strikes only a few miles from you location. Against all logic, upon being hit by the quake and resulting aftershocks, you suffer a fatal wound simply because you can command fire.

3ZI0RR3 is hit by earthquake. It is super-effective.

And DominusVita, Granted.

Upon seeing your superhuman powers, the entire world ragequits. You are banned from competition and banished to the Northern wastes of Canada to spend the rest of your life granting wishes for moose.

I wish every country in the world was like Australia.

Granted, massive tectonic shifts occur all around, billions die, mass animal exctinctions even. Now all the nation have the shape/vegetation/wildlife/population of Australia.
Baffin island becomes a super-power.

I wish I could manipulate time at will without it having any ill effects on me and that I was the only one who'd know when I reversed/fastforwarded/slowed/etc time down.

Wow, this is basically the wish deconstruction thread! I like it.

Upon discovering your powers, you begin to fix the world's problems of the past, present, and future.
However, after many years of doing good works, you begin to become disillusioned with the "ignorant" people who have, not once, recognized or appreciated the good that you have done. In order to aquire the respect that you have come to so desperately need, you manipulate the events of history for your own gain.
You become a tyrannical dictator with complete control of the time-stream, eliminating people before they can subvert your laws, and sometimes, even before they are born.

I wish that all men really were created equal.

All men are created equal. The pornography business plummets due to the lack of laughably large one-eyed monsters, as they're all the same size now. Many sports competitions involving men end up in ties. Also, all attempts at romance lack in allure - with all men created equal, Mr. Right is either everybody, or nobody. That kind of sucks. It's not the end of a world scenario this time, but it's nasty.

I wish for the talimancers to build an enormous altar to the goddess of awkward moments.

Granted... Oh wait, I think they've been doing that for the last few years. Since 2007.

It should be completed sometime in Late 2012. The Mayans have foreseen it.

I wish that Soldiers could use Vanguard Charge.

Granted but then the Soldiers can't use assault rifles thus making it redundant.

I wish Christmas would hurry up and be over.

Soldiers now can use the biotic charge. Fans become, as they typically do, completely enraged and create a topic complaining about debating it for over 100 pages. This ensues civil war between the Pro-Charge and Anti-Charges. Through some bizarre loophole caused by this, smudboy finds a way back on BSN and terrorizes the forums, causing widespread panic from fans and devs alike.

Soldiers are better with guns and magical omni-blades. Deal with it. :P

I wish life wasn't so complicated.

In response to Christmas:

Granted. The last month of the year, including Christmas, ceases to exist. Nobody ever complains about how far away Christmas is or makes a big deal about the month before Christmas, but every night, little children cry themselves to sleep and curse your name.

And Dominus, Granted.

We all revert to single-celled organisms. Our wars, famine, and environmental problems all end. Then we all die, because we have no place in the planet's ecosystem.

I wish Chris Priestly posted in every thread.

Granted. But with every post Half-Life 3 is delayed a year.

Granted, you now have to right papers in Mandarin.

I wish I could read an equivalent of my own character sheet to see wtf is wrong with me! XD

Granted!
You would then realize that nothing is wrong with you, because your intelligence comes from your dad, Albert Einstein .

I wish that my cat was human.

After realizing that we all go to Smudboy's YouTube home page after we die, people begin eating healthier, exercising, and doing whatever they can to avoid a fate truly worse than death: Afterlife with Smudboy.

I wish for a better short-term and long-term memory, so that doesn't happen again. :P

Granted; you now have a perfect memory such that you can remember every detail of your life. Unfortunately your brain is unable to cope with all these memories you can now recall such that at some point soon in the future your brain explodes. It is not a pretty sight.

I wish for a decent messenger bag which can actually hold the stuff I want to put in it.

Done. However, men begin to jest that you're carrying around an oversized purse. You try to tell them otherwise, but they continue to tease until you begin to lose your sanity. Sent to an insane asylum, you continually mutter to yourself:

"....it's a messenger bag...!" "...guys do this nowadays..."

Granted, but now he also has a gold tooth, a hook hand, is pillaging villages, and molesting the local chicken population.

I wish I had a Santa hat and a glass of wine.

You now have the helm of redness and the chalice of dragon's blood. Unfortunately, this causes you to become a floating apparition, endlessly trapped in a 146 by 146 box surrounded by nerds on the internet. Oh dear.

I wish for a volus romance in ME3. Come on BioWare, make it happen.

Granted, but during the the romance scene your volus lover strips off, only to explode into a goopy mess. That Shepard proceeds to eat.

I wish I could freeze time, just for a little while.

Granted; you manage to freeze time, but what occurs is that you manage to objectify time. This moment of time you managed to freeze with your limited ability then drops hard on your toe.

I wish for punctuality.
