I am trying to do a run on NM and I am stuck on this quest for more than 7 hours because I simple do 1-2 damage at most on shades >/

I'm a lvl 7 Sword n Shield warrior trying to run with Varric/Anders/Fenris using all DLC gears (DLC 1h axe, Rosemund shield, chest/helm/boots dlc) I can use by this level. I've tried everything I know, using door to stack shades > stun > aoe >glyph of paralysis > aoe, but as soon as the first Rage Demon appears I'm dead.

Am I missing something? I guess I may be too low for this quest but now I cant leave it because I'm already inside the mansion.

How is the best way to deal with shades (they show a shield against physical hits and I pretty much only do damage when my skills are up and yet its a pitty damage)? Do I need some weapon runes (because Im only using a lot of RoFs on my armor and nothing else)?
