So what happens to all the gear, guns, and other things I gathered or paid to download from ME2? Carry over?

Would be surprised if they didn't have all DLC weapons from M2 in M3 as standard. They already designed it, applied sound effects. No excuse not to.

Seeing as the Mattock has been featured quite consistently in gameplay clips, I suspect most if not all DLC guns will be part of the standard ME3 armory.

I'm hoping Appearance Packs transfer too. They were a little overpriced to start with, but I bought them anyway. There's some good designs, so it would be nice to see them in ME3 as well.
