The E3 trailer was just to showcase what they had available for the demo. Notice how 90% of it was footage from their 20 min presentation? The full 'launch' trailer will set a different tone.

Why do people always criticize BioWare and their developers? Or demand for certain things to be in the game?

The fan-made trailer is decent. BioWare's trailer, in my opinion is better.

I don't like how it switches from live-action to CG to in-game footage. This trailer lacks consistency.

Ah, it was okay. When showcasing a trailer for their new game, they're not going to be showing clips and segments from the first 2 because well, it's a new game - show new features/the epic scope - etc!!!

Personally, the only part I liked about the trailer was the first music choice, otherwise it was decent

The launch trailer is usually the best of the bunch. ME2's E3 trailers were nothing to write home about, ME2 launch trailer though....I still get goosebumps.

Edit:  - and the video link in OP is still pretty freaking awesome though

Tbh. Only reason why everyone loved ME2 launch trailer might be becouse of TSFH, no Theme for a LT fits better than them.

ME2 launch trailer was silly and so was the song that played in it. Hugely overrated, just like Lux Aeterna.

This guy made a nice Mass Effect 3 trailer and it's all Mass Effect 2 & 3 footage

Well in the end all this thread is about is personal taste so, but still decent trailer.

Not bad, I still prefer Bioware's but this one has a good atmosphere. Liked the other media scenes though.

ME3's next trailer will be incredible, and the launch trailer will kill us.

I didn't care for it. Most of the footage wasn't even from Mass Effect 3. Or Mass Effect in general.
