Well... I must say, that besides my two-three favourites I'm glad to have everyone back along the game. There are really a few characters in ME that I don't care about.

Miranda of course. Because she has the potential to be on the same level as Shepard. Miranda and SHepard are perfect companions in more ways than one.

Honorable mention: Ashley or Kaidan. Jacob.

And yes, the turian councillor. I want to throw "Ah yes, Reapers" back in his face!

Most definitely the Virmire Survivor (Ashley/Kaidan), especially if Shepard romanced the VS and 'cheated' in ME2. I can't wait to see Kaidan and Jacob vie for my fem Vanguard's affections while Ashley and Miranda tear each others hair out over my man Infiltrator :-D

Also can't wait to see what's Tali's unfinished business with Shepard.

(Hopes for a Samara cameo or even return, would be cool to battle her with Renegade Shep)

Most anticipated? Thane, Jack, Mordin and Legion. Oh, and Wrex.

Really, I'm just excited about everyone in general. Mass Effect is such a character rich game, and I can't wait to see what Bioware has in store for them (and us!) I do wish we had a little more information to go off of, but we still have nine months to go. I can wait. Maybe.

I'm eager to see what they'll do with Ashley (and Kaidan) and how their largely absent from ME2 characters have progressed. Other than that I have a soft spot for Jack and I think Kasumi is so super awesomely fun.
