Hey peeps.
I've no idea where I'm going wrong. I've finished level 2 of Durlag's tower and by the end of it my party was a bit beaten up and inventories were stuffed with loot, so I exited and sold my stuff, rested. I came back into level 2 and a lot of the doors were closed again. (sigh)
The ones I can't get through are the two either side of the throne room and the one on the right wall of Kiel's room. I have all the rune/ward (whatever they're called) stones, because I've been through the whole level as I've said.
In the room with the statues, the top one opens the door to the room with the dummies, and the bottom one closes it. The middle dummy opens the door to Kiel's room. That's it.
I've tried multiple combinations with the statues & dummy, and have tried putting all the ward stones in one characters inventory, because I thought that the character trying the doors had to have the stones in their inventory that didn't work either.
The only thing I can think of is that the doors that are stuck opened when I killed the monsters from before. If that's the case, how the heck do I get them open now?
Really, really exasperated.
Please help...

It's an old and infamous bug. Your best option is to use the Control+J cheat to move your party to the level exit. You can also use the console to transport your party to the next level, but that's not recommended in Durlag's Tower, since the game loves to transport you right in the middle of a group of enemies. Only use when there's no other option left.

Thanks for the reply!
Ah. I had a search of google and the forum aswell before posting, but none of the stuff I saw seemed to be the same problem.
What's the control+J cheat?

I'm assuming you use either Tutu or Baldurs Gate Trilogy. Here's a list of cheat codes and how to activate them: http://www.gamefaqs....llection/cheats
If you're not using either Tutu or BGT, use these instructions instead: http://www.gamefaqs....urs-gate/cheats
After activating cheats, to use Control+J, select your party, move the mouse pointer to where you want to go, then press Ctr+J. Your party will be tansported to where your mousepointer is.

Just wanted to post a reply in case somebody else encounters this problem. I recently did this same thing and found a way to get past it without needing to use cheats.
***This will probably only work if you have been into the trigger room***
When you re-enter level 2, open the door to the sparring room and then open the door to the throne room. In the throne room, get close to the wall adjacent to the trigger room and use the triggers to re-open all doors.
