If you're going to leave her if she doesn't meet your expectations, I think it would be better to leave the helmet on, in your case.

I doubt very much she looks like a rachni. Why is looks so important? Tali's personality wins me over. I created a new Shepard in ME1 and didn't have a LI, just so I could romance Tali without issues in ME3. I really don't care what she looks like.

It would probably be best if we never see what the quarians look like.

You are a real person. Never tried that. I'll start one next week just to see how a non romance complications with Tali will pan out in ME 3. Thanks for the idea.

You can have an LI in ME1 and have an LI in ME2 and not have problems in ME3.

At least with Liara.

My male Shepard never was with Liara.  Just my canon femShep.  I created a new Shepard for each ME1 LI.  Then after I played ME2, I went back and did another ME1 run with no LI, so I could romance Tali without having issues with Ashley.  Even though my maleShep with Ash ended up with Jack ME2.   Can't wait to see how that turns out.

I think if they show her face a lot of fans will be disappointed that she doesn't look like they imagined, though I've seen some very nice fan art, Some with elf ears, at least one with a tail and a few that have her looking far too human.

For myself, I wouldn't mind knowing what they look like, but the mystery is sort of nice so either way I won't be disappointed, and I'd laugh if she had elf ears, though I like elf ears.

On Tali's loyalty mission when she is accessing a terminal about halfway into the ship, you can clearly see her face profile through the visor. Her brow, eye sockets, nose and upper lip resemble a human's. I'd like to think this isn't just a placeholder model.

I'm willing to bet it is a place holder model.  Hope I'm wrong, but then I really don't want to see the quarians outside of their suits.  Adds to their allure for me.

You can often see the shape of her face. If they suddenly decide to make Quarians completely un-human like it would be just dumb. Placeholder or not, they know her face is often visible so they need to incorporate that.

If Bioware is wise, they'd show the face of another Quarian so you had a basic idea of what they look like, but never show Tali's face, because at this point, whatever idea is in the head of a Talimancer will not be what Bioware creates in the game, so it will be a letdown regardless.

I would like to see her face I would imagine she'd look like the gray girl from farscape but with longer hair. I'm most interested in seeing her face as opposed to a random Quarian.

But if BW doesn't show her face I'd like to still see details perhapse when her and shep make love this would be a great time to do an extended scene maybe showing shep removing her sleeve portion of the suit and we get to see her forearm its color and texture, a spine shot to see if she has anything there unusual or not and her hair color. Basically tasteful eye candy during their moment.

I really hope they don't show it, not because I don't want to see it, but because there's always going to be someone not liking what they designed for her face.  Sometimes the outlash on these forums can become quite heated, so I'd rather that be avoided

If they were to do it, for me personally - I'd imagine her getting shot near the end of the game and her mask would be broken, only showing a glimpse of what they look like. Something sad or something, I don't know. hahaha
