Romances Being Carried Over

The reason why this couldn't happen in the second is because: Kaiden/Ashley are against Cerbues(which Sheperd was apart of), & Liara was too busy being spied upon by the Shadow Broker. But now there is no reason (if that LI is in your party) in the third game, I'm curious to see how Bioware will approach this. I would like to see more of these interactions, what do you think?
[It would also awesome to see LI's hang out on the Normandy who aren't apart of the Squad, instead of just one little mission where you either break up, or renounce your faith in each other.]

This could be just me speaking: But it seems as though nobody is willing to have sex with you in the future, unless your both are about to die. In Mass Effect 3, I would like to see a more interactive relationship with Sheperd's love interest[s]. By the end of Mass Effect 2 Sheperd could send his LI to his cabin & spend time with that LI. I would like to see these interactions from the get-go in Mass Effect 3, instead of the whole relationship being reset like in ME2. Who knows, maybe they can do more than just "hang-out";)

Yes I can imagine that.
Shepard: ''Come here sugar!''
LI: ''But the reapers?''
Shepard: ''Reapers are not going anywhere''

This is largely why I don't even think romances should be included, but the Twilight part of the fanbase would riot, and we can't have that.
It's going to be contrived as long as the Reaper threat is there.

I think a romance is ok, when there is time and place for it. Some spare time, or some rest time before the final assault is ok. Things like actually spending time cuddling can be included after the final mission imo, just like in ME2.

Whatever, holmes... you've played Dragon Age, your avatar says so... what the OP is proposing is basically how it worked in DA:O.
Not really. The Archdemon isn't rampaging through Thedas while you are bringing Leliana a necklace. It doesn't show up until the final act, whereas this game starts with Reapers ravaging Earth.

I believe DA:O was more slow. Starship battles and movements happen faster than moving around walking. I think Shepard can do everything he needs in about 5-6 days maybe roleplaywise, as opposed to DA:O where you had like a year, spending time at the camp every time at night.

Also you could with the romance bracket in the upper left part of the wheel open that up and kiss or in Tali's case hold hands or something with her and this is also were you can do a come hither and you two go to bed for some loving. If they do show anything here I'd say make it different from the sex scene they'll show pre final battle. Or they could do a suggestive scene fade to black then when the final mission sex scene comes up with this LI you get ME tasteful non blackout screen here.
I would also like to have dialogue when I go visit my LI at their work station and maybe depending on your LI they call you dear or something in their language that is similar.

Mass Effect 1 takes about 1 year. just becasue it doesn't feel like it in real time doesn't mean it only takes a second to travel between systems.
Mass Effect 2 takes something like 6-12 months I think.
it took reapers several centuries to harvest protheans.
in DAO - you travel across one relativey small country. in mass effect you travel across the galaxy.
there's downtime. regadless of how dire the matter is, even with relay travel between systems - there's still downtime.
P.S. to the "twilight" poster - thank you sooo much for lumping all the romance apreciators together, so very kind of you <_<
