What does he mean "both are on the covers"? One on each side?
They're making out, I imagine.

No, not necessarily.SilentNukee wrote...
On the cover, probably side by side or ...something like that.
...That pic is rather scary, actually.

And half the casual fanbase will go:
"Holy sh*t, you can play as a GIRL?! Why didn't anyone tell me?!"

you're making the mistake of thinking the game will leave my xbox after it goes in.moneycashgeorge wrote...
^ box is a lot more important than a trailer. Trailer you might watch once, and only before the game comes out. A box you have to look at every time you take out the game.

seriously don't understand why BW suddenly feel it's necessary to stuff femshep on the cover when defaultmaleshep was specifically created to market the game, if anything you'll just confuse the more casual gamer not vested in the universe (perhaps why they are keeping it for the CE). the casual market is still a far more important segment than the few percent that play a femshep.

1. You'll need a gigantic flameshield.
2. The REGULAR edition is marketed for casuals, and it has Sheploo on it. Femshep will only appear in the CE, which is made specifically for fans. Simple as that.

a. anyone interested in the game will find out about the customisation anyway, if the game itself doesn't appeal it's not going to suddenly change just because you can play as X.
b. physical customisation is such a small part of the actual character customisation and the game itself.
given all the things BW could be doing to market the game to everyone, i still don't see why they are suddenly so desperate to highlight one particular thing, which by very definition - and BS's own stats, appeals to so few.
