Well, you implied that Silverman ought to be working on making sure the game is good or something when that's simply not even his job. It just seemed like a ridiculously uneducated demand to make. But if you meant to say something else, then consider the remark scrubbed.
Undereducated? No, the fault is with you and your lack of reading comprehension, nothing else. He's supposed to be marketing a game, not box art. He’s more concerned with style rather than substance, which after DA2 is a joke. I’ve seen nothing of note from this guy about the game itself.
My lack of reading comprehension?
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... nope.
More like your lack of knowledge about how departments in companies, let alone game companies, work.
I'm done with you.
Oh, you're done with me!
Please say it isn't so!!! You completely jumped the gun and had absolutely no clue what I was actually saying, hence comprehension error. I've explained my position, since you needed to be lead by the hand. And the best you can do is to make the baseless claim that I lack knowledge about "game companies." Good one!
I was more or less civil with you and you had to throw an insult at me. I am "done with you" because I generally don't bother getting into it with people who want to snipe rather than speak.
Let's take a look at your initial post.
Yes, box art and awesomezzz
connected now in ME3. He should be concerned about the state of the game
itself, and "marketing" it on that; not the damn box art. Where did
they find this guy? He has to be related to someone high up in EA.
Why should he be "concerned" with the state of the game? That isn't his job. If you really knew how any company worked, not just game companies, you'd know that marketing is primarily concerned with presenting a product to the public, with making its face. Even if the game was turning out badly, he isn't going to say so and you can't expect him to say so. Marketing people are salesmen first and foremost.
Anyway, guess what box art is? So him speaking about this subject is as legitimate a marketing move as any. The so-called substance you long for was presented at E3 because it is the job of other people to demonstrate the game and talk about its features.
If you're willing to cut out the puerile behavior, I'll continue discourse with you. If not, I will no longer respond to your posts in this thread.
