Screw that. I'm not getting an Origin download service program. ****, if it comes to that, I'll buy ME3 and then get a Origins-free version of it through underhanded means.

And mods! This may or may not be a joke. You can't prove it... So don't harass me.

Speaking from an Australian standpoint, steam has been more more expensive recently that buying a boxed copy at eb games... That's how bad its getting on steam... I mean brink is still 89.99 dollars for australians on steam!

I don't mind it will be origin exclusive, for me I only use steam if it's cheap, but i've had nothing but problems with steam ever since they first introduced it for valve games.... Therefore i'm kinda hoping origin does turn out...

Either way I'd never buy a game I actually like through digital distribution... I perfer buying boxed copies because of the perdy box and the fact that download 15 odd gigs everytime I format (if i forget to backup) is just too damn painful..

What's so great about Steam? Seriously. I only use it because Valve makes me.

It "came first", apparently.

I'll agree that Origin is probably going to fail hardcore, but people taking a moral stand because they have some kind of loyalty to Steam honestly doesn' t make that much sense to me either.

well no, not at all actually.

i have loyalty to steam because its a good service. its not publisher / developer restricted. i have ubisoft games, EA games, bioware games, bethesda games, DICE games, ect. all on steam.

it has great community support, you can chat from any game to anyone playing a completely different game while in game. just today my friend was able to ask me for advice for ME2 while i was playing BFBC2.

autopatch, install, uninstall, reinstall, screenshots, ect. all super well done.

not to mention the SALES. they have INSANE sales lol. ive gotten tons of games  for 50-85% off simply by checking steam everyday. dawn of war 2 and its first x-pack for 5 bucks? SOLD!

so yeah, i guess you could say im a "steam fanboy", but its well earned, actually i remember hating it when halflife 2 made me use it at first but then once i realized how awesome it was its my favorite thing ever. for any PC game, get it on steam.
