Sandal is the only dwarf in the world who can use magic. If that isn't Going to Be Important Later I don't know what might be.

Hah, depends who we play as. We already had Sandal living with Hawke in DA2!

I think you mean:

Dragon Age 3: The care of the devious dwarf, who plays ignorance and a mental condition, so no one knows what's really up with him...

When I first saw the thread title, I thought it said "Aborting Sandal."

Now I'm disappointed.

I'd love a DLC that explains where the heck Sandal came from and how Bodahn found him. Failing that, I'd love to have him teach my PC that trick that resulted in the Ogre ice sculpture.

See, it wasn't magic, but he had found a huge block of ice, and carved it. Not a dwarven mage, but an amazing sculptor.Posted Image

Aha!

"Enchantment?"

"Young man, there will be no enchanting until you clean your room!"

"*grumble grumble I'm actually the Maker you know grumble* Enchantment!"

I don't know, but Bodahn seems to be drawn to inpowerful people. 1. The Warden. 2. Hawke. 3. Sandal.
PS: Why do the characters in the game call him "The Warden"? It's apparently ancient order, so why is it that when one warden defeats a blight he's known as THE Warden?

Hero of Ferelden is long. Though if you were a Dalish Elf the Dalish/Merrill call him/her Mahariel which is the Dalish surname.

I think Sandal will be a companion in DA3

Yeah, he's going to Orlais with Bodhan (to do work for the Empress no less, powerful people indeed). He's already adopted. :) Something would have to happen to Bodhan in order for you to adopt Sandal. Although I was surprised when Bodhan said he was leaving, figured he be with Hawke forever. :crying:

Sandal will be back, likely ina seemingly hazardous location, calm and surrounded by dead enemies. As to what else comes of him, who knows, but that is hallmark Sandal :) He's suppose to get you saying "Ugh Sandal AGAIN" and " Now where is that Sandal when my pack is full and I have a few dozen more kills to make before going to town?"
