I was a bit unimpressed with Samara's outfit, but also Miranda and Jack. If Jack wants to wear leather straps in her corner of the ship while not on a mission that's fine. But if she's going to go into battle she's wearing an armored space suit if I were Shepard...or she would of just been left on the prison ship with the Blue Suns.

Samara running around with the exposed cleavage and her and Miranda both in skin tight suits with high heels just made the game feel a little too much like a pulp sci-fi such as Buck Rodgers to me. Put them in armored spacesuits too. Their suits don't have to look the same. In fact it would be nice to see a special design for a character such as an Asari Justicar. I would expect Miranda to have some impressive armor too from some special Cerberus R&D projects.

Jacob's form fitting outfit needed armor too, but at least he wasn't wearing heels in space.

His outfit sucked but at least he didn't have any cleavage or wore high heels.

I agree but Bioware hasn’t been too bad so far

I don't really have a problem with outfits and builds like Miranda’s even if it is strangely moulded to her ass. It fit with her character as a casual at least and you do get woman like that. The camera shots were what got annoying with that one and hope they don’t keep doing that. I don’t want a characters ass filling my screen. Samaras boob window was a little strange to me but it kind of fits as one of the other posters said. Jack may be half naked but she isn’t really sexualised (I'm not saying she is ugly tho). It’s actually dose fit with her character and her tattoos and scars are her costume. Less clothing is not necessarily the problem. You can have someone completely covered form the neck down who is more sexualised than Jack is. Having every girl dress conservatively is not really a good thing either. Diversity is good.
I really think all three of them could use something more substantial in combat tho and at least lose the heels but this is not due to a sexism issue. It's because it looks random and abit silly to me and I like armor. Especially considering its only your squad. I was willing to forgive those tho because everyone in ME2 only had one outfit (and a recolor) and we had Kasumi who is fine, Tali who is fine and after LotSB Liara who is fine.
If you’re going go on about the girls you can’t forget about the guys. It not like this only the girls who get this.

I only have an issue with it if it starts becoming too prevalent, it doesn’t fit the character, its exclusively one gender (which it hasn’t been) or you get previous characters all of sudden jumping on to it. So long as I can still give Ashley decent heavyish armour and don't have to stick with what we have seen (because that one dose annoy the hell out of me) I don’t have an issue. Then we have both guys and girls in the light armour and guys and girls in the heaver armour. It’s not one sided.

To be fair that’s probably just because high heels aren’t sexy on a guy....usually. :innocent:

A specific part of his body was...outlined, the suit was tighter than Miranda's...eh, he's far worse...

You know seeing how Miranda and Jacob wore such tight suits, I wondered throughout the game if they ever get urinary tract infection. I mean Normandy bathrooms are empty (which is a good thing if Shepard passes them by). But seriously, please no more tight spandex.... My eyes can't take them anymore.

So, Bioware includes a decent buffet of attires, meaning everything's good right?

I kinda agree, I think characters should have other clothing's and type of armors. That be better than having the same suit or type of clothing on for the whole game, that does get tiring after awhile.

1, maybe 2 out of 8 female squadmates over Mass Effects 1 and 2 have shown any amount of skin at all. 6 out of 8 of them have their entire bodies covered from toes to neck.

Bikinis my ass. Stop whining.

With shields who needs armor? I guess they all just got the "Tactician" achievement at some point in time.

Mordin wading into battle in his lab coat, Zaeed looking like a Mad Max extra and Neo (sorry, Thane) doing bullet-time was as ridiculous though.

I don't really have much of a problem with the revealing outfits. As it was said, Jack is completely in-character for wearing what she wears, Samara is simply above such nonsense, and Miranda uses her attractiveness to get what she wants... What I did have a problem with is the heels and the constant shoving of Miranda's ass into my face.

I am also still bitter because of Matriarch Benezia's outfit.

Jack's outfit is absolutely in-character, and putting her in armor would be nothing short of defilement. Hell, her breasts are some of the smallest I have ever seen in a videogame. Plus, don'tcha think her tattoos kind of draw the viewer's attention?

Samara and Miranda were definitely pretty ridiculous, though.
