Yes, Kaiden would never flirt with Femshep if he knew she was a lesbian...because there'd be no point. The flirting would go nowhere. By that same token, you could say he assumed Manshep was straight, and thus never flirted with him...because he thought there'd be no point.

Of course you have,  that's the nature of the beast.  Everyone wants their favorite,  but everyone doesn't want everyone if you get my meaning.  Also Samara,  Liara  Kelly, and Shepard shouldn't be on that list.  two of them are naturally pansexual,  one is rather sweet and a tad skeazy,  and  Shepard is a construct of the player.

PS:  I would romance the hell out of Legion.

I'd hate it if all the characters were interested in same-sex relationships. After the first two games it would seem contrived. At the same time I hope there's at least one character introduced that's only interested in same-sex relationships (miranda les-fest please).

Why is it "After the first two games?"  what makes three that magically magical number?  I'm extremely curious... and have way to much time on my hands today.

 Also, it's a long ways away before anyone gets a strictly gay/lesbian romance.  Of course,  their is nothing stopping a bi character seem like they are in fact playing for only one team.  It happens in real life so why not a game?

Rann says she linked suits with Tali's mom twice once before Tali was conceived and again after Tali was born in order to put her in the bubble. Now considering she made this statement infront of Tali, Shep, and another crewmember in a public space what do people think she meant?

I figure its the former and not the later sense the later would ruin her family and why would she come out so casually in front of a crowd and daughter of deceased?

The second evidence for her not being bi or into fshep is via dialogue she stops at I want to link suits. Only through mshep and metagaming as another sex do we learn a second reason to link suits with someone to have sex with them.

Then of course there is the final results fshep and Tali's story ends at the drive core despite how others want to think otherwise. Mshep and Tali's story ends with them in bed.

A little helpfull tip ... ALLWAYS remove the thorns from the rose before trying to play romantic...

Nothing quite ruins the mood as having to run for bandaid's....


Anyways... I'd say the best way to turn 1-2 of the old characters gay/bi would be via a poll among the fans... AND lets then throw in a realistic background story that makes sense.

I don't know what exactly that could be but maybe some of the gay/bi people here could come with some suggestions on what was hard/easy/important in that journey.

Lets have a believable good quality character change then... Something that you guys/girls could identify with.

Basically I mean that if a character should "change" (im the continuity moron in my point of view here) there should be a well explained reason for it or story to it.

Well,  it would stop the confusion... 

It would also make real life a lot easier...  I suck at reading people and I can never really tell who swings what way.  I think one of those little plastic tags defining your perfered partners would be fantastic.

and here I think is the biggest problem with old LI's becoming BI. While fan A only wants Kaidan and say Joker to be BI, fan B just wants thane and  Tali to be BI and so on and so on. No one is "more right" than the other because none of these characters have shown any tendencies IMO so you might as well pick two names out of a hat because we aren't basing this on thier past behaviour. So if we only want a realistic few that turns Bi oir reveals they are BI (like most people have said) who gets chosen? How is it chosen? What makes one character a better candidate than the other?

I believe jack was the only one to mention a past relationship with a woman so that's the only one I can think of, but that was during her days of being used by people so I don't know if it was something she wanted or not.

I’m not entirely sure what sort of realistic background story goes hand in hand with bisexuality/homosexuality.  There really isn’t a reason why people prefer girls over boys and vice versa.  It’s a hard wired thing and doesn’t need a lengthy story on why they’re that way.  They just are.

I would really hate to see a coming out story,  they tend to be real downers.  Sure,  it’s sweet to hear “I’ve never done this before.”  It’s a line uttered many more times than it’s actually true,  but,  the ramifications outside of the bedroom can be terrible amongst family and friends…  and I hope by time ME takes place people will just stop caring about who people choose to bed. 

I just want a few decent romances with some meat to them,  and MORE, MORE, MORE character dialogue for everyone not just romanancable characters.

I think it would be pointless. It would also make the game look less like an actual game, just a dating simulator.
