At the end of ME3, I turned the Collector Base into the galaxy's biggest firework.
And afterward, Miranda and Jacob agree it was the right choice to make.

So, where does this leave their Cerberus status?

The Illusive Man is not forgiving of betrayal, considering what happened to Grayson.

So, their choices are rather limited at the moment:

1) Stay with Shepherd and hope the Alliance will accept them as part of the Normandy SR2 crew.
2) Get assassinated by Cerberus
3) End up in an Alliance prison

And it looks like Cerberus has turned on Shepherd, regardless of what decision you made regarding the Collector Base.

From the limited information available, it looks like all your ME2 squadmates are being sent back where they came from.

But I'm not sure Miranda and Jacob can go back.......

Miranda becomes the next head of Cerberus.

Jacob ekes out a miserable living as a stripper in Chora's Den. Or maybe he undergoes a sex change and becomes a cult leader in the slums of Omega ("We are worshippers of the priiiiize").

One does not simply quit Cerberus. I think they are at least in some kind of trouble.

lol, when i read that i pictured Boromir saying "One does not simply walk into Mordor."

Well Miranda has some unfinished business with her father. Ill be disappointed if that is overlooked. As for Jacob, no idea too be honest. His loyalty mission had no loose ends, maybe he will rejoin the Alliance as a corsair (spelling?). I don't think the Alliance needs to know he use to be a Cerberus operative ;)

I am not sure about Jacob, I am guessing Miranda will go to Illium to watch after her sister and protect her sister from both her father and from cerberus since old timmy will probably go after her sister to get to her.

Eather arrested by the alliance military as traitors / terrorists or indoctrinated by the Reapers. Shepard will have to save them first.

You don't quit Cerberus, you temporarily shorten your lifespan. Maybe permanently.

Bioware said they couldn't say too much about those two, but they are involved with the whole Cerberus hunting you down-story in ME3. Not sure in what way.

If Miranda is helping cerberus I will be more than happy to end her.  Hell I'll let Jack filet her herself.

Even if TIM let her be indoctrinated ?

I've never had any love for Miranda if the game gives me a reasonable excuse to end her I will take it.

I feel they both go in different directions..... Miranda regardless of her loyalty seems like she could never leaver or betray cerberus even if you romanced her I could see her going back to cerberus and the Illusive man screwing her over in some way maybe threatening her with her sister or something ..... Jacob on the other hand I could see having a very insignificant role in ME 3 maybe he just got lost in the system and is doing his own thing and you run passed him on some random planet and you help him out or maybe he gets back to his Alliance roots and becomes a front-line soldier for the battle with the reapers

Don't see Miranda working with Cerberus as she resigned in my playthrough, thereby pissing off her boss. Don't think he's the forgiving type.
If Cerberus is after Miranda i have no doubt she is perfectly capable of giving them a bloody nose.
If Cerberus is after her i want a believable reason why i'm not helping her give Cerberus a bloody nose.
As for where she'll end up, hopefully that will be at my Shep's side saving the galaxy and taking a prominent role in re-organising glactic affairs in the aftermath of victory.

Simple reason for Cerberus want Miranda: Leverage (assuming you romanced her).

I'm guessing their coffins will just be tossed into another unmarked Cerberus mass grave.

One of them has to play the role of Judas.

I would like it if there's a mission to help them. It would *really* amuse me if at some point Miranda and Jack became cohorts. They have so much in common and if they'd stop trying to kill each other they might actually realize that.

Where will Jacob end up? A ditch hopefully.

Where will Miranda end up? Hopefully in a 3-way with Ash and Shepard.

That would more than likely be Miranda since Jacob was never really that nuts about cerberus in the first place and TIM has enough leverage on Miranda to turn her back to his side, if this is what happens I will gladly allow Jack to tear Miranda apart.

Jacob will be dead, since I deliberately orchestrated his demise in the suicide mission. Miranda will probably be with Shepard to be one of the starting squadmates, or doing something Cerberus-y. She's probably important to the plot though, since she's apparently near impossible to kill in the suicide mission.

Jacob should die in a blaze of glory defending the Mass Effect 3 Reaper Kryptonite McGuffin:

It was a heavy risk...............but the priiiiiiize! *Reaper fleet explodes*

Bioware should at least put in a heavy risk reference somewhere.

My guess Miranda has the possibility of ending up running Cerberus. Jacob will be killed in some heroic sacrifice.
