Eviscerator. It's a medium range shotgun with three rounds that packs one hell of a punch. What's not to love?

The claymore, mostly for the sound it makes, especially in comparison to those other milksop shotguns =]

Claymore, the other weapons got pretty stale after a while for me.

Claymore is my favorite for both looks and gameplay.

I like the Predator a lot too.

Can I name 3?

M-5 Phalanx - Heavy Pistol: Why Do I like it? I don't know, I like the look and shape of it, the laser sight, the base damage is also very impressive.

M-96 Mattock - Once again it all comes down to the look ( I'm very shallow that way, I like to have the best looking armour and the best looking weapons ). I'm not to happy with it's slow rate of fire ( not what you'd expect from an Assaul Rifle ) but the base damage stats more than make up for teh fact that it is teh only Semi-Auto Assault Rifle in ME2.

Collector Particle Beam - The only weapon on my list that I think is ugly as sin ( I hate the organic design ) however I just love the way the thing works. It's friggin laser beam for christ sakes, how awesome is that.

My hands are permanently adhered to the Viper.
It allows me to be a quick headshot sniper with my Triple Thrash Threat sniper team, Garrus and Thane. (inserting Legion & Zaeed as necessary)

I'm quite partial to the Viper, that thing packs quite a punch.

Honourable mentions go to the Mattock, Widow, and HMWA X.

Always been a fan of the Vindicator myself, based mostly on the looks of it. That said, I tend to use the Mattock more frequently because of the semi-auto fire.

If I could have the Vindicator with semi-auto rather than burst or full-auto I'd be very happy. I'm holding out hope that'll be among the options we get in the armory for weapon customization.

I'm flat out lousy at remembering the weapon names. On the tougher levels I would say the one high end assault rifle that takes down barriers and shields quickly. (Is that the Revenant?)

The quick shot sniper rifle is good as well.

the mattock and the cain which strange cause i never liked it in my previous runs of the ME2 but the last of couple of runs i've switch to that after i unlocked it, the cain comes in really handy at the end of horizon when dealing with the praetorian,  the mattock full upgraded w/ heavy warp ammo is my shepards beard and butter so to speak deals massive amounts of damage

The Widow. I love that damn gun. And the Cain - kinda hard to pull off a shot without obliterating myself, but it makes a nice boom.

The Mattock rifle. It makes an awesome thumping sound when you hammer out the rounds and the semi auto function makes it feel a bit more tailored to a precision assault rather than the bulk of the other rifles which are more 'spray n pray'. Thats an SMG's job surely?

Anywho, i'm also a big fan of the Widow sniper rifle. BLAM, head-shot for you, perforated eardrums of everyone else!

Well as a melee lover, I prefer shotguns, if for no other reason than most are named after Melee Weapons. Posted Image

The Claymore is visually my favorite weapon of the game, and fun to use too. The Scimitar would be my second choice.

Non-shotgun I loved the Locust. More for the visual than anything else.

For Heavy Weapon, I prefered the Arc-Projector.

The Locust is more accurate. It makes a nice distance weapon for Sentinels and Engineers who haven't been to the Collector Ship yet.

As for my favorite. Mmmm...Revenant all the way.

Yes, but don't you automatically switch to the Tempest right after Tali's recruitment?

So? :pinched:

I mean, does that mean in your book that after that you should not use Locust, O danny boy?

Given that. it's pretty safe to say that you'll like the Omni-Blade. (That iis safe to say, right?)

For me the rifle I really like in concept is the incisor, just doesn't work in practice due to poor ammo capacity.

I use it on Garrus though, he does bad things with that gun.
