After completing ME2 I went back and created a new character in ME1 and went straight through to 2, it was pretty epic and put the whole story in to perspective. I'm planning to do it again with a fresh character in February with the goal to have completed both Mass Effects + DLC just seconds before I put  ME3 in my disk tray and just shoot straight through after halting the reapers in the Arrival DLC.

Anyone else planning this?

If I can get ME1 to look right on my PC and Steam puts ME2 on sale this Summer, I'll probably restart my original 360 Shepard on PC.

Cool idea, but I finished running my canon through weeks ago, won't mess with him again until ME 3.

Considering I forget to back up my ME1 and ME2 saves I sort of have to.

I plan on doing it a bit closer to release. I'm prepping myself for my Mass Effect 1 run in about October-November, and my Mass Effect 2 closer to December-January. It's gonna be a good time.

I've got several characters ready for import into ME3, not going to touch those characters again until march 2012 since there's nothing left to do with those characters. I will be doing a few more playthroughs in the meantime, just not with my canon Shepard.

Since i might have some freetime at the end of feb. / beginning of march, i am planning to do so. And for ME3 i will take some vacation. Cant enjoy epic games getting interrupted all the time, stretching it over a week.

I am, because I don't have a femShep + Liara combo. Too, since there is a way for me to skip ME without having to play through all over again, it's an incentive to get the 3 LI combos. Or is it 4...?

Basically, I want to do a run with a character that I don't have attachments to, so if I royally screw up ME3 then I wont have terrible playthroughs for my more cherished Sheps

Yeah, I'll start my ME1+2 playthroughs during the holiday season to have two or three Sheps ready for ME3.

I'm waiting until ME3 comes out then I'll playthrough all classes from ME1 through ME3. Until then I have Fallout 3 that I'm playing now, Fallout New Vegas arrived in the mail this morning, Alice The Madness Returned was just downloaded yesterday, Hunted The Demon's Forge purchased recently and I have two novels to edit. I have no time for Mass Effect right now. In March I'll get back to it. Oh and forgot about FEAR, FEAR 2 and Singularity, Crysis 2, Dead Space 1 and 2. It seems that I was lost in Mass Effect and have many games to play before then. Also, Skyrim and Dungeon Siege 3 are on my Christmas list. I'm hoping that not many good games come out next year besides ME3 or else I'll be *figuratively* buried beneath them.

DLC for ME1 isn't working. I'll probably create a character in the Save Editor import it to ME2 and start from there. Does that count?

Absolutely not. I might have considered it, but for whatever reason I decided I wanted to get the ally achievements for ME1 and after grinding through everything 3 times I don't want to touch it again. People don't ever try to get achievements like those, they really do kill you a little bit inside.

I completed my Mass Effect 1,2, and DLC's run months ago and will be just lurking on the forum or playing other games until ME3, hopefully I'll be burnt out on Skyrim by then or ME3 might have to share time on my Xbox LOL :P.

I'm pretty much planning on doing this..... trouble is, I have a pretty busy gaming schedual between now and ME3..............

I have to finish Oblivion first (YES............ I never finished it. )
Then move onto Deus Ex about two months from now
Then do Silent Hill downpour
Then Skyrim (or part of it)
THEN play ME1 and 2 and hopefully finish both of them in the space of a month

.... I wont be short on games lol

This is on my agenda as well. I'm starting a hiatus from Mass Effect, for the most part until around the middle to the tail end of February, then I'll start a new playthrough with my canon Shepard. The plan is to get through everything I did with my previous canon Shepard, as well as the DLCs, and finish the playthrough on the very night of the midnight release of Mass Effect 3(Gamestop usually does this, and I preordered the CE with them). Then, upon getting back home, head straight into Shepard's trial on Earth, as the invasion begins....

I've thought about this way too much already. Damn it.

I already have a canon that's waiting for me in ME2. When I have time, I'm going to finish it.

Yup, although I'm still trying to figure a couple of things out. First and foremost who to take with me to Ilos this time (out of Liara, Garrus and Wrex), as well as the eternal internal genophage debate I've been having for over a year now.

It depends on what life throws at me between then and now, but I plan to get DX:HR, finish that, then another playthrough of ME2, staying loyal to Liara (Thank you thank you thank you for the backstory comic) and have that be my canon run.

I will first play through ME3 with my adept, soldier, infiltrator and vanguard Shepard's.

Then after i have completed ME3 with all of the above classes, i will create a new Shepard, probably engineer or sentinel and then play through ME1,ME2 and ME3 in a row.

That will be epic and awesome at the same time!

I'll do a full run with my Canon Shepard some time around the holidays. ME1 on the holidays of 2011. ME2 in the winter/spring of 2012. I'll be having some good times!
