EDIT: Sorry site messed up my formatting again...

I know Devs said they are improving the squad interaction but here's some humble suggestions. Some Dev opinion would be extremely appreciated.

I find a few things that can be
boosted in terms of Shep and his crew. First of the conversations are
usually extremely one-sided with almost no exception - meaning that
Shepard is always the initiator of said conversations, interactions and
never the receiver. The only time a crew member actually goes to
Shepard's cabin is during the LI scenes. It could be just me but this
can sometimes create the feeling I'm constantly annoying my companions
with "chat".

The companions are incredibly static - they stay
always in one place, in the same position from the moment they get on
the ship. This ties in with the next problem which is squad and crew
interaction. It would be much more realistic to see a bit of movement
from the squad. Maybe Garrus getting some rest from calibrating in the
mess hall or Thane visiting Samara to watch the vastness of space at the
Starboard. Kelly moving around the ship actually doing her job and
observing. Jacob going to get a bite at the mess hall or to Miranda's
office. Basically any kind of movement, even different spots companions
can "spawn" the next time we get to the ship. Although seeing them
moving would be actually cooler.

Squad and crew interaction -
other then Shepard interacting with the squad, a few jabs from Joker,
Kasumi, Kelly, Gabby and Ken about the others, there's really no
interaction between the actual squad or the rest of the crew. Maybe
Thane and Garrus can discuss the lethality of different weapons. Samara
and Thane could discuss the morality and ethics of killing. Zaeed and
Grunt can share experience, maybe Zaeed teaching some tactics against
other races. Jacob and Miranda can discuss well Cerberus stuff. Kasumi
could maybe hit on Jacob when they are having a break from whatever they
are doing. Joker and Dr. Chawkas could talk about the good old time.
Garrus could discuss the improvement of the cook meals after we get
ingredients from the Citadel commenting his expertise on making a turian
salad or something. Samara could comment on Jack's biotic progress,
maybe train together or teach her an asari trick. General meetings with
the entire squad - ME1 had this. ME2 however didn't but had squad
conflicts which were neat however few in number.

Squad opinion
about each other - Only Joker and Kelly give few lines about each
character, Jack too. There isn't much conversation or opinion from the
others though. It would be interesting to hear Thane's opinion on Garrus
and vice versa. What Miranda thinks about Jacob. Or Mordin about
Samara. DA: Origins had this but it was only between the protagonist and
Allistair.

With the conflicts introduced already, introduce
camaraderie - Garrus and Tali know each other quite well already and
should work better as a team then the others. Miranda and Jacob possibly
as well. This ties in with the previous point of opinion - have some
characters favor others and possibly develop friendship or even
relationship just like Shepard. Those characters could go the extra mile
and be successful at saving another character at a critical mission not
only based on their skills but on their feelings. Whereas other will
fail or outright refuse/backstabb - Miranda is surrounded by enemies,
Shepard orders Jack to assist her. Jack kills all husks and helps
Miranda out only to have her shot in the back as soon as she doesn't
look. Then lies to Shepard that they got overwhelmed and she couldn't do
anything.

More dialogue - some characters have very few
dialogue especially after their LM - Garrus I'm looking at you. It's
kind of annoying to have all the dialogue over by the time I've reached a
little bit then half of the game only to have them repeat the same
thing until the end. Make some dialogue open up depending on key events
or twists and turns and balance it out according to the story
progression.

Have companions comment on each other's skills. The biotics can share experience, skills. Thane and Kasumi can talk about stealth, Garrus and Zaeed calibrating weapons etc.

Feel free to give more suggestions how Shepard, squad and crew communication can be improved.

Yeah, but even when the vets first played, we had to find where each mate was stationed. What I propose is having your squadmates come to you because it just seems easier that way. Not that having the crew stationed was a bad idea because "you always knew where to find them." I have no problem going to Miranda's office, but if she could meet me somewhere if something is urgent. Having said this, I don't want to be swarmed by everyone either. lol

I'd like Skyllian Five poker in the mess hall with teamates/crew the way they did it with Red Dead Redemption. :o

For all the crap people give DA2, rightly or wrongly, I always thought the way the characters would randomly break into conversations was a great idea and showcased personality. It's something I wish ME would pick up.

Additional crew interaction would be a definite plus. I really enjoyed some of the comments you'd hear from time to time as you moved through the Normandy, but it wasn't very deep, or diverse.

Anyway, I agree that I often felt I was badgering my teammates. No one ever initiated conversations, I always had to chase down people to see what they had to say. I missed the squad discussions from ME that occurred after every major plot advancement.

Well you could ask EDI to locate people. And when you go to elevator it could be something like in ME2: Zaeed is in toilet on deck 2, Garrus and Tali are in engine room on deck 1 etc.

You know, some of this stuff was in KotOR II. You'd enter the Ebon Hawk and see a mini-cutscene of one party member talking to another one. Mass Effect would do it better, though, because nearly everybody in KotOR II had some kind of gray or black morality.

This.

Those cutscenes were cool. Just added a bit of flavour without going overboard.

Maybe they could move around and interact, but in a few connected rooms, rather than being spead out across the whole ship, and seperated by tedious loading screens.

Tali could move around the engine room checking terminals and directing the other engineers, or speaking to another techie squadmate.

Ashley/Kaidan could be instructing the ships's fighting crew alongside Garrus.

Liara could be seated next to Chakwas and actually speak to her, rather than being in a seperate room.

These are small things, but they would make the ship feel more alive, and provide interaction between the charcters. It would also be easier to speak to them all and hear their opinions, rather than having to walk across the ship and having many loading screens.

Conversations are very one sided. Shep is like the ship's therapist (Kelly says that's her job but she just tells Shep to go talk to people) everyone has some kind of problem they are just dying to tell Shep all about. But no-one ever asks Shep how she is, except Liara which made me almost fall off my chair in shock. I do like finding out about the squaddies lives and thus their problems, but it makes the relationship feel very one sided. So I'd like to see companion conversations being used to give Shep more personality as well as the squaddies.

I'd like better interaction with shepard and squad members, every time you talk you should be able to learn new things.

Awsome ideas guys really. This to me was also what the series was lacking. These minor additions would make the player actually care about the crew of the Normandy even more so as it seems that they are actually interacting with each other. While having the main characters engaging each other and shepard by atcually walking around i'd also like to see some other things. Like Tali catching some servicemen in the lower decks slacking off and she gets on them for not conducting maintenance on the engines. Or a crewmember falls alseep on watch in the CIC and your shepard catches him and you could chew him out for it. Or you could actually reward the crew and boost the moral of your ship by just chatting with some of them that least expect it. Comander Shepard is the captain and should know his crew. Have the morality of the crew effect the normandy's operation. Even the less important shipmates. Little things like that would definately be beyond my expectations if it were to happen along with everything else mentioned but would also be truley epic.
