Hey does anyone know if doing the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC is required for continuing a romance with Liara in ME3?

It is not but it's assumed that LotSB events took place albeit in slightly different circumstances.

Well if you haven't played the DLC, Liara IS the new broker in ME3, as it's considered canon, so I presume that, as long as you haven't romanced anyone in ME2, you're good.

I don't think it is required. but would be worth getting and playing just so you can import the data and do a little counting of romance in it.

It's the best DLC - better than most of the missions in the game, in fact. I'd recommend playing it for that reason alone.

Agree, blows every other ME2 DLC out of the water

To me, its one of the best DLC period for any game.  It is also the only DLC in ME2 I have played in every play through.  I have over 15.

it's better than most of the actual missions of ME2, I'd wager to say that the LotSB DLC is better than Mass Effect 2 period

Well it ain't better then the entire game... but only cause of the size of DLC, other then that BEST ****ING DLC ever.

As for romance continuation... yes, even without LotSB you can continue the romance, the game will figure like you and Liara continued your romance in LotSB.

Only thing I am wondering, if we broke our relationship with Liara in LotSB how will the game figure it, as a cheating Shepard, or like Liara and Shep stoped their romance.
