After reading several posts on how Dragon Age II has preformed for the Mac, I should be happy I could play the game at all.  My mouses freezes during combat and if there is a cut scene after combat, I cannot choose any dialog and I have to perform a hard quit.  I am done talking to technical support and I am done with EA for the Mac.  You guys are horrible for the Mac.  I am not interested in EA or any of its junior companies for Mac games.

There is another thread which dicusses workarounds. My partial fix is to LOG OUT form Dragon Age server before playing DAII. IN another thread about mouse freeze, others have suggested solutions involving rapid clicking, dragging.

You can choose dialog options by pressing the number keys on your keyboard, ie. 1,2,3,4.

My mouse freezes on occasion too, but it's doesn't happen enough to be more than a minor annoyance.

Does "mouse freeze" mean it gets stuck in the middle of the screen during combat?

My workaround for that is to pause, and drag the camera around a few degrees (right mouse button). Then it works again.

No need however to necro two old threads and create a new one for exactly the same problem...
