Hello there.
My question is, can a rather inexperienced forumite in here merge the multiple scurrying around .gda to make them usable alltogether (at least those that don't conflict) so I don't have to miss out some features that otherwise wouldn't apply?
If yes, would anyone kindly slam my face into the respective matter and explain how to do so?
Thanks a lot

I'm not aware of any currently available mods that would require merging except for combat balance mods, and most of them have several version to make themselves compatible with one another.
What mods in particular were you thinking about?

I, me having started all over to finally get through that game, have once more clashed with that darn Tal Vashoth Cave. I found a mod negating the Potion Chugging of enemies (which is a cheap move anyway, so I feel no guilt removing it) but once I installed it, all the abilities were gone. As in, even the ability-trees were gone. Vanished ... all of them.
So I figured it was conflicting with another gda (I have the Heal and Potion Cooldown Reduction addin) but thought one could merge them together to get the wanted result as both are effectively not violating (at least as far as my humble assessmant goes).

Ah, I see. You can edit .gdas manually with GDApp, but it could be difficult figuring out which entries are modified and which entries are default and so on.
Have you tried removing all your mods except the new Potion Chugging mod to make sure it is in fact some conflict and not an issue of that mod by itself?
If you list the mods you're using, I could try and deduce what the issue might be.

I actually decreased the cooldown on the "cheap-move potion chugging", since I felt it gives the whole battle a more realistic feel. After all, when the AI sees the player drink a healing potion, wouldn't it be smart to go "Hey, I have such a thingy too, why not use it instead of waiting till I'm dead so it can be looted?".
