One thing that really annoyed me in both ME1 and 2 was the inability to level up our companions skills unless they were in our squad.
Surely it shouldnt be too hard to have an option while on the Normandy to go to their skill tree to upgrade their skills, like you can change their weapons in ME2.
Request: ability to level up companions while on the normandy.

I agree. And make it so I can relocate squad points in case I'm not happy with the setup too.

I agree, it was so stupid that you had to land on planet (what took too long) to pick the squadmates you had to level up (mostly it were more squadmates than 2, so you had to reload with the other ones as well) and then had to return to the Normandy (what took too long as well)

Yes.I'm hoping Bioware adds that and ability to relocate squad points.

Hell yes, along with the usual options for their gear and appearence.

Yes! I hate that they don't have this. At times when I've gone to train my squad, I don't like the current set up or think This will be better than That but I can't change the current set up. Massive pet peeve. I would LOVE to be able to retrain their squad points.

I'd like this... but it's not as big an issue to me. In DA2, a lack of central management was utterly insane. In ME2, since you chose companions and that was that, the lack of central mangement didn't bother me. If, in ME3, we'll be doing larger squad things, we will need a central screen.

Yeah, I'd like to be able to flip through all of their stat-pages too so I can try to minimize overlap and coordinate my squad.

Yes please. Its so annoying to switch out party members outside the ship just to level up their skills.

A question- would people prefer to have squad management (whilst on the Normandy) accessible via the pause menu (á la DA:O) or from some sort of physical object on the Normandy (like the computer in ME2)?

Both? Menu option when in a shore party, computer when on the Normandy

I was referring to specifically when on the Normandy- sorry the question wasn't very clear.

Yes. Also, armor lockers along with work benches.

I'd like to see it just be one thing for leveling up all squad members, and not separate lockers, that just gets annoying.
