So I finally finished  FemHawke play through last night that I started a while back and let sit idle somewhere in the middle of Act 1 for the longest time. I only played it a quest or two at a time and the the occasional couple hours here or there and somehow I must have screwed something up because Fenris turned on me in the finalle. I had to fight him in Templar Hall and while he was an easy kill (Hardcore) I noticed the enemies fighting with Fenris were all Guardsmen. This is about 5 minutes after Aveline (full on friendship and loyal) tells Hawke that the Donnic has the guards helping civilians and none will stand with Meredith.
Way to keep the men in line Aveline... <_<

I hear Fenris will do that unless you have a 100% friendship -or- rivalry with him. And I think the Guards may be just because the game designers knew Fenris taking on the party on his own would get slaughtered worse then he already is.

Just figured it would have been more Templars as opposed to guards. The whole point of getting Aveline on your side is so that the guard stands with you as well.
