Wow, I think I'll just go with the 360/2=180. Yeap, I'll turn 180 degrees around and just walk away from this thread.
I can't imagine how you can aim with a joystick!

We're that awesome.

Ha, that should be the response to every mention of thumbsticks being used for aiming.

Glad to see the initial quote was lighthearted(or at least, seems that way).

I would buy Mass Effect 3 for my PS3 or Xbox but the character I want to continue in me3 was started on pc, and I wanna continue with him, so I'm gonna buy it for my PC, other than that I don't like pc gaming either

I can aim fine with thumbsticks. So used to it now after a solid 2 years of my high school youth playing Halo (oh no! I said a bad word).

Also, I find it more relaxing to chill on the couch with a controller with a nice big tv to play Mass Effect on :) Maybe have friends drop by and be entranced by the world of Mass Effect (Seriously when I played my roommates literally would just stare and watch for as long as I played).

I'm primarily a PC gamer but choose to play the ME series on the 360. :) I always end up also buying the PC version of each game but prefer to play the series on my 360.

Strictly play on PC. I'd rather have my hands sawn off with a rusted spoon than play a shooter with a gamepad.

Console for me, I've always been a console gamer. PCs are too expensive to keep up-to-speed (IN MY OPINION).

Personally, I'd rather sit in my game chair, looking at my 42 inch Flat Panel LCD television, with my Razer Onza Tournament Edition controller, playing games that way.

Just a preference. Last PC game I played was Age of Mythology. GREAT game, that was.

I have never even played an Xbox 360 or PS3, unless you count the ones used for display at Walmart.

...who is planning on purchasing ME3 for a console. I've played (and am continuing to play) both Mass Effects on the xbox 360. But, just from observing other threads on this forum, I feel outnumbered as it seems a lot of people here are primarily PC gamers. So I am just wondering, am I alone or are there other forumgoers who actually are planning to get the console version of the game?

I am. Pre-ordered the CE version about a week or so ago.

Have the other two games on my console too, so, why not?

I don't agree but nvm. Not the appropriate thread to discuss this kinds of things.

Maybe console players don't visit the forums as much as the PC players? I don't know.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind playing more games on my PC, but the requirements and hassles with compatibility usually lead me to play the console version of the game first.

Not necessarily a bad word... I enjoy Halo, too.

Though I hate it that only Halo 1 and 2 are for the PC. Would love to play 3. Same for RDR and LA: Noire: all console exclusives, sadly.

I don't think that aiming with a thumbstick is so hard as many seem to believe. You just have to get used to it. I keep my rusty shooting skills on consoles on a steady level by playing Doom 64 and GoldenEye on the N64... Not comparable to the console shooters we have these days, but they are console shooters nevertheless.

Anyway, if I could, I think I would've bought ME3 for the Xbox. Then again, I don't have any of the other ME's for the Xbox or PS. At the time I bought them, I only could buy ME2 for the Xbox  (and later PS3). And I own neither a Xbox 360 or a PS3.

I've played both ME- games on the 360, even when my computer could easily run them. High definition makes it look almost as sweet as on the PC's.

As for the answer to your question, OP: I'll buy ME3 on the 360.

360.  My crappy computers don't have good enough video :)  Plus the large screen tv is in the wrong room for pc.  But both have advantages.

Show off :D   (pc is great for screenshots too.  I can't do that well on console)

You can transfer the game saves between pc <--> xbox  (for me2 anyway).  (Of course you would also have to have the 360 dlc to play the dlc parts).

See Epic Legion's online tool in his sig in this forum (just checked, Epic's link is currently down as he is moving to another server),  or try the modified Gibbed I have.
