360 believe it or not for physical therapy. Motorcycle wreck (not my fault) left me with extensive nerve damage in my left hand. Started using controller to retrain my thumb. At first Mass Effect on Casual was painful & difficult - but the story hooked me. Very happy to report I finished both games on Insanity since. Hand problem solved, now I'm just handicapped being a 60 y/o woman who wears bifocals. PS/PC folks come up with a controller/mouse that cures that & I'll switch.

Play ME on PC because I've started playing here and this is where all my saves are.
I own a Xbox too and tried to play ME there...didn't work, the lack of mouse and the gamepad annoyed the hell out of me.

360 here. If BW only had 1 person in the world on console they wouldn't bother releasing the game on consoles.

I would actually like to play on the Xbox sitting back relaxing on the sofa............but i just find the mouse far superior to the thumbstick, so i stick to the PC.
Maybe when some genius designs the perfect controller/mouse hybrid i'll go console.

I prefer PC. I like to mod when possible and I become horribly inept when attempting to shoot with a joystick.

PC here, but I understand why many people prefer consoles for their convenience.

I started the series on 360 back in 2007, and that's where it will end for me.
No real platform preference, just the way it is.
If I had to talk up the benefits of console gaming, it would be the fact (as someone else has mentioned), that friends can plonk themselves down on the couch and watch the glory that is the Mass Effect series at the same time as me, without being crammed around a computer desk.
Not that I have a platform preference or anything, like I said.

Been a console gamer since I received a Sega Genesis for my 4th birthday. And even though I own a PS3, I'll be finishing this series right where I started it. I sometimes like to chat with friends while playing single player games like this too and I find Xbox Live far more accomodating for that than PSN.
Never could get used to keyboard and mouse for gaming and couldn't be bothered with keeping my PC in top shape for games anyway, but I'll admit that I do get jelly of all those wonderful mods.

PC gamer here. The only console I own is a Wii (Just Dance 2 ftw). The last shooter I played on a console was a cops game on a Sega Saturn, so I can't even begin to guess what buttons do what on a 360 controller. I don't think I could part with my W-A-S-D keys, hot keys, or mouse anyway.

Does it matter if you're PC or X360 or PS3 gamer ? We are playing the same game but on different platforms. None of those platforms makes us special...

I play on the Xbox. It's a shame to miss out on the mods and such, but I just can't get used to using a mouse+keyboard instead of a controller.

Forum members who game on PCs seem to have a higher post frequency than the console members. If I had to guess, it's because we just plain like using computers more, whether for gamin or for forums. I've often read console players posting stuff like "I work on a PC all day; the last thing I want to do in my free time is use a PC some more."

I'm gonna build a new PC for Mass Effect 3 so I can play it in 1920x1080 at 60 frames per second. I'm a console gamer as well but I think a cinematic game like Mass Effect 3 would be best on a system that uses the full potential of my monitor and audio setup.
My consoles are reserved for sports and Nintendo games.

I first played ME1 on the PC, but then moved to the X-Box for ME2 (and a replay of ME1). The console and TV allows my family to watch and be social while I play.
