So, is it the way like humans do, or it involves creepy black-eye stuff at this point as well? Cause if it doesnt, then, well, asari are literally bold blue human females with biotic and telepathic abilities who can live up to 1000 years.

Would you prefer them to be bold blue stinky fish dudes six feet tall with hairy chest sixteen eyes four hands eight testicles with huge jaws that make clank sounds and with biotic and telepathic abilities who can live up to 1000 years?FERMi27 wrote...

-Ehm... ok, we need help here. Hope Dean sees this topic.
The one thing we know of is that they can have sex like human females (scene from Retribution). The logic of this (as in, WHY? or lack of logic) was examined also by Dean somewhere.

You forgot the fact that physical contact is not necessary when asari are mating.

Yes, therefore...?
This was not the question. The question was about how the rest of asari reproductive system works (not including the neural link part), and we don't know almost anything about that. Exept from that scene in Retribution.
I'd say that they are like Star Trek aliens and this part works about the same as with humans. Unless Bioware explicitly writes something inventive about it for ME3... which would be kinda out of place (hey, we're fighting an army of space eldrictch horrors, now is not the time), although interesting.

I have a wonderful idea how this could be implemented in ME3. Shepard would meet a pregnant asari at Thessia, just in the middle of a massive evacuation of the population. She would ask him for something, probably for some help, and mention that she is pregnant. Seeing her convex belly would obviously speak for itself.Valikdu wrote...
